if you are seriously thinking n/a you might want to look into something that can adjust timing and not just a/f

then you are most definatly gonna want something that can retard the timing so you can get the most out of your turbo and cam combo

DING! yeah, most definately you'll need something to adjust for timing, although you can do that to some extent with the camshaft gear. Dunno, but i would look into it a bit deeper before you start shelling out money

the adjustable gear offers a fair amount of play with the timing but not even close to the ability that a controler would do (or stand alone).

Whoa!! You guys are talking and confusing (or so it seems) ignition timing and camshaft timing.

+1

I didn't want to say anything because some of the posts are very vague (post #79).
Cam gear = camshaft timing
Emanage, EMS = spark plug timing

Cam gear is used to retard/advance camshaft timing. If I remember correctly,
if your highest HP is at 5k rpm then after advancing the 'camshaft' timing that point will happen earlier.

i just don't like typing. i'm already typing up my novel so i am as minimal as possible in my words and just hope that people understand what i'm getting at until a detailed description is required

i just didn't feel like specifing when the topic shifted from ignition/idles to camshaft timing.
