Aight, cool. I'm not sure when it'll fit in the schedule and budget, but I'm thinking I can just take a vacation to KY and let you do your magic. I'll keep you in mind for the future.

Gimme a holler when you get the head off.
Ill be busy for a couple of days, I just took on a camaro for a beefcake job.
I found a place where I can get used mas for the lancers for $130 all day.
I found a place where I can get sheets of honeycomb for the mas for $100 a square foot.
Also I figured out it only cost about $20 to make a test pipe for the lancer.
Im gonna have to get busy and get a dam webpage up so I can start selling stuff online instead of having to auction crap all the time.
Hey Hobie you live in Newark?

Is that $20 estimate including the 02 sensor? Or just for the straight pipe? Even assuming an average profit markup, that would be a good price for us.

ooh lordy. i need some honeycomb. $100 a square foot? hmmm 100/19 ~ $5.50 a pop for replacement honeycomb(plus whatever resonable markup you'd put). 16 since a replacement piece is about 2.75"x2.75", i think. if you ever come around to making replacement honeycombs, i'm sure there's market for dumbasses like myself.

No I didnt think about the o2 sensor, to be honest I wasnt sure if you had to have a different temp sensor or not until you changed out the headers.
I was try to say that it cost me 20 bucks to make the by pass piping but I still need to get the bung that the o2sensor screws into which should only be a buck or two and shouldnt take but another 5 or ten minuets to weld it on there.
Ill let you guys know what happens toward the end of the week.

Im in the process of trying to schmoo these guys from the areospace industry to let me in on the next shipment they get of honeycomb.
Did you guys know that the honeycomb crap is areospace grade honeycomb.
It has some type of corrosion resistant coating baked on it.
I had a guy over at the industrial park show me the big difference that just one little mess up in the honey comb can make he explaned it like this,( each cell of the comb suppports a band of dir4ectional air and when one if off, it throws the reading off due to the fact that a bend or mar in one comb causes the cellflow to be disrupted).
Im not sure if he was getting into grandpa's cough medicine or if he was actually right but the guy does work in the Raython areodynmics.
Regardless im in the process of trying to get honeycombs for those late night screwups that we all do. LOL!

Honeycomb

Hey HobieKopie if I can manage to get a big *** sheet of that honeycomb stuff like 6 foot by 6 foot which is what I would have to buy for $400 to get the minimnum order what do you think it would go for if we sold it pre cut for all the people who screwed theres up.
Email me and let me know but if what I think is right and the way I figured it up we could start slanging honeycomb from Kentucky to NewJersey!
I'd be willing to front the $400 but since I don't have a web site yet for Elite Impact Racing LLC. I would need some help pushing that because its kind of a oddity.

If someone wants to organize a group buy I can't see that being a problem, but truth be told I can't have you just selling the stuff. Basically I can't provide you the same services and luxuries that our registered vendors receive, but I'm sure we can try to accomodate these people and help you out in the meantime.

I'm about 15-45 minutes from Newark depending upon traffic. Right next to the George Washington Bridge.

Traffic does suck, I could walk from the raddison I usually stayed at, quicker than I could drive to the Konica building.
I understand about the whole reg. vendor thingy.
Im thinking about tyring to get a web site up and going.
For the past 2 years since ive been a registered business I havent had a web site but thats because I really havent needed one but now ive got employees so I can take on more stuff and I think it would be a good idea to get a web site so people could at leats order stuff from me.
Any one know of a good host?

Doh, ok so it is a 2.0L.. A T3 should still be fine, just have to stay on the small side..

And i doubt it was from a F350 if it is only a T3..

What are the specs on the turbo you have? Cause something is not adding up.

I couldnt get a smaller wheel for this stupid thing
because if memory serves me right its supposed to be an IDI turbo and the F-350 I know for sure is a 7.3L so ( so I had a brain fart, it would have been cool if it had worked you have to admit)
