That has been my problem- you cant get any internals for this car without waiting. I only replaced the one bent valve. Machine shop assured me the others checked out. I had the machine shop press out my wristpin and put the new JE's on for me. I didnt want to damge them. I went with the stock rods. You guys at road race told me that they are plenty strong for you turbo kits. Thats what I am going to go with. Let me ask you a question - will road race sell just the up pipe and down pipe. I already have a garrett t25. I know that the road race kit comes with the t28, but if i am not mistaken the first turbo kits made by roadrace had the t25. I guess the t28 just spools up a feww hundred rpm's faster than the t25. correct me if i am wrong.

agent - if your goign custum turbo setup, might as well go someplace that will custom make all your pipes, they should be able to make the up and down pipes for your turbo, i doubt road race would just sell you them, and it would probably be your best interest money wise to just get them made for you in your local area

the Big T-28 that comes with the kit has a quicker spool and a higher cfm rating. As far as buying just the up and down pipes i'd just PM ROCK about that. He sells the hacker tweeker kit but i know he has made deals excluding the turbo. Just ask you never know.

I had talked to them once before. They said take 700 off and they will exclude the turbo. I like to exclude everything but the up and down pipe and worry about the wastegate and stuff myself.

Just curious, how many bottles of the nitrous did you go through before you had problems?

So I got everything back from the machine shop today. The head was decked and .0010 grind on the valves. Everything looks nice. The bearings came in today as well. So now just to put it all together.

I used a honing tools to hone the cylinders. i only ran it through twice. real quick up and down. it didnt really look like it did very much. Then we gauged the rings.

This took a long time. I checked and double checked. Called the dealership, a few of our friends. Just make sure that we were right.

Used a old piston to make sure that the piston was true and level in the cylinder.
