Which ARP kit I mean? They make them for the 6 bolt and 7 bolt 4g63, but not the 4g94 so far as I'm aware. Or did you just buy a generic stud kit and use what you needed? (sorta like I just bought a generic hex 0.75" header bolt kit from them. )

I removed the wires on the injectors because I'm waiting onf my RC Engineering 440's.

Thanks for the advice.

I ordered it direct from ARP. I gave them the bolt specifics and they put together a kit. I will get the part numbers for you.

How much were they... i've checked and it was around 2bills. I talked to ROCK about this and the future of the lancer... I believe he is going to start selling them soon as he can get/offer a better deal for those putting the lancer to the edge.

I usually see them going for around $80-115 for just a head stud kit. $200 seems way high to me. Of course those prices are for existing kits.

(For reference, Summit Racing sells the DSM and Starion stud kits for around $90.

$108.00 thru ARP. I will get the part number as soon as I get it. I was supposed to get them on todays truck, but they called and it will be tomorrow. That was inc. Tax. So about $100.00 Tennessee has some crazy 9.25% Tax.

Thanks. Custom SS equal length runners. Too bad it's a pain in the *** to remove. Got frustrated last night because so many things are unreachable. Just stopped.

Can't wait to hear about the ARP kit.

Thats funny that you said that I had been telling people I had a 3000lb paper weight in the driveway. You were talking about the piston right? The rods were not damaged although I did change the rod bolts. I didnt upgrade either. The factory rods are plenty strong for 200 hp.

Yes, I was talking about the piston, not the entire car. Well good luck and let us know about the end product.

The car's just as useless as the pistons at that point. I'm there now.

Right now my car is just keeping my jack stands from floating away.

Sorry about that it has been crazy around my way today. I got the head studs and turns out ARP sent me a kit for a 4g63 even though spending an hour on the phone with them, giving them the factory bolt specs, they still sent me out the wrong kit. SO anyway I got a little pissed, and once again I bought ten more head bolts from the dealer, put them on with out any trouble today. Tomorrow I am going to put it in time and start it. I got the intake and exhaust back together. I am so ready to get this done. Sorry about the stud kit, Anyone need a stud kit for a 4g63, not refundable special item. lol
