They've forgotten where they come from....Well, moreso where the car came from. I still give the old 1G DSM's props because of the 4G63 heritage the cars have shared. And heaven forbid I see a GVR-4 on the road, because I will do anything it takes to pull the guy over just to make sweet love to his car.

I get mistaken for a Lancer a LOT. Most people as me "Is that the new Ralliart Lancer? Damn, they really did make it look a lot like the Evo, didn't they? (I have my car debadged with Ralliart mudflaps )

 

i never said 'all' evo owners. i said most. most of the ones i've ever talked to get a total better than me attitude when i talk to them because i don't have an evo. i have met guys on the other side though that think its cool that we both have lancers(even though theirs is an evo). so that's why i said most. i'm going off my own experiances.

Its a joke bro, im not tripping over anything here. Dont hate cuz I drive an EVO. I used to drive a car without much power. Its cool. I worked my butt off for years to get my insurance and income where I need it to afford a car like this.

yes most evo owners look down on us, but screw them i will continue to enjoy my lil car, i love her to death, prob more than some evo owners love theres.. so any negative evos can kiss my fat hairy ***. other then that, i love evo owners, just hate the ones who are condecending to us beacause they are in a different class.

 

suprisingly few people know mitsu makes a N/A lancer. so they see a bright yellow car, and they outomatically think evo / or at least super fast car. Then they hit the gas and pass me

 

i don't really mind what peeps say about our lancers online...i mean anyone can try to internet gangbang and sh** but then i just laugh cuz that's all they can do is talk.....

 

when I was looking for a new car, bfore I bought my evo, I had a yellow oz with VII spoiler. So one day I went to test drive a WRX and as soon as I pulled on to the lot a subi dealer walked up to me and says, " I bet you're here to trade your Evo in for an STI huh." I said "No, the evo isn't out yet and niether is the sti." So he asks "Then how do we have an sti on the lot right now?" So I asked him if I could see it and he takes me over to an '02, bug eyed, wrx with a tall spoiler and dealer installed sti badging. I told him to do some research and that he convinced me to go over to the mitsu dealership and put in an order for an evo when they arived. I hate ******* ignorant car dealers.

 

I even have some morons in their WRX's and STi's following me to a light to see if I wanna race!!! Its understandable concidering the amount if work done to my car, but I think its hillarious!!! The best part is when they roll down their window and say "nice car...bla bla bla... u wanna run?" and I simply say to them "u seriously need ur head examined if u think Im gonna waste my time and gas on you", meaning of course that I would loose and they are retarded for not knowing their a$$ from their elbow! I simply let them fly away from me and finish it off with a good laugh!

 

also...i wanna back up mini me in sayin that any hater-evos can lick my grundle if they dont like it. yeah they might be able to beat me in a race, but 99% of them would get no repect parked next to me at any show. Ive beaten evo's left and right and have yet to loose to one. Im not saying that all evos are not show worthy, because there are some that are, nor am i disrespecting evo owners. Just the ones with their ball$ in their hand cause they think they are God cause they are driving an evo.

 

yeah anyways where i live 04 OZ's/ralliart's are an even rarer sight than evo's. so when ever i go somewhere with my 04 OZ (with exhaust, eyelids, and a debadge) i get the "nice car, is that an evo?" or "nice car, what is it?" i personally like when they ask me the second question. i love my car because it is so rare where i live.

Correct Sir Lancelot^^ I have little respect for a EVO owner when they keep it stock and just want to bragg about having an EVO ... Hell yeah I'd take one, but why leave it just like the other 1000's of EVO's out there? If you want any respect from your fellow E-Box owners you have to make it your own and not accept stock to be the best.

As long as you like your car and are happy with it, keep it and mod it until you have it perfect in your eyes. Use critisms constructively.... you never know someone may think of something that will steer you in a better direction and you'll like it even more. Bottom line, keep an open mind!!

My Evo is debadged and salespeople don't even know the difference. They always ask if whether it's an Evo or if I put a wing on a normal lancer. I have the RalliArt stickers from the Evo 6.5 TME on my front & rear bumpers, and one of the salespeople even asked why I would want to "downgrade" to a RalliArt. I asked him if he knew what RalliArt even was, and he said he didn't. I then showed him a poster on their wall of the SCCA ProRally car with RalliArt stickers all over it.

My point is, most people are morons that know Jack $hit about anything. If I am curt with anyone on the street about my car, it's because the attention, questions, ridicule, insults, and accusations that I'm lying about my car get old after a while.

Case in point:
Last saturday night some idiots in an SUV pulled up next to me, and the dumbass in the back decided to tell me "Dude my Cavaliar is faster than that thing". I then showed them what an AWD launch was. Later on the freeway I saw them barreling down the fast lane trying to catch up. I let them get next to me, then showed them what going fast on the freeway really was while waiving "bye" to them out the window...

I have to learn to stop getting worked up...
