Es okay mijo. Im not upset over here. I guess sometimes I can be cocky when you work hard for something. Hard work pays off. In the mean time I have no disrespect for the Lancers. Nor do I bash them when I go down the road. The only comment I make is calling them "mini me". Otherwise the more Lancers and Evos on the road the better. I already went through two 2g Eclipses with turbos. I love in general.

 

ontario mitsubishi service dept. couldnt even tell my car wasnt an evo...to tell you the truth i was really disappointed in that...i was laughing pretty bad...how can you expect the service dept to not know the difference?...i do get mistaken for it alot...but the only thing on my car that would represent an evo is the OEM wing...which any preson that doesnt know anything about cars will throw them off right away...i dont mind getting mistaken for it...but i also dont drive around like i won one...sometimes i really want to go wingless but my girl wont let me...she says its what makes my car...i like the evo alot...and if i made a lot of money i prolly still wont have one...dont get me wrong its a great car, but i got my lancer because nobody else really had it...and no one was fixing it up so i wanted to do it...i have met a few evo owners...and they liked my car fo how it was set up...they were really cool most of them are but you have those very few that think they are god and dont remember that they are still on C chassis...

 

i used to get it all the time in the states it got so bad that i had to put an oz sticker on the hood and they still asked me if it was an evo

no actually thats not what you said. if your having a hard time remembering what you said just go back and look at your post. anyways just because we "modify" the exterior dosent mean we're trying to look like an evo. just because we get rid of the stock chrome grill automatically people think we're trying to copy an evo . you guys shoud be ripping on the people who know nothing about cars and think its an evo..... not on a fellow lancer owner. but then again like you said, your cocky because of what you own.

 

i like the fact that my yellow evo is debadged in the back so most people don't know what it is. they ask me & i say "evo" & there like what's an evo? they also freak out cuz of the tt. "dude you're car's still running!"
