The customer is always right... except for forum. Haha!

I agree with RRM/Rock. Forum you didn't do this the right way. You need to learn to be more diplomatic when it comes to stuff like this. Even if RRM's grill was messed up you just need to learn to take things more chill and laid back. I think your problem was thinking that RRM was like many online vendors. In fact RRM is a very reputable business with a brick and mortor location and real people working everyday to bring us the best in service and products. From personal experience they have helped me to install a used Piggy Back and even were cool enough to send us pics when my stupid a$$ didn't know where the vaccum line was. (Thanks Gabe, I think)

That said, I do think some here love RRM too much I think that others admonish them just as much. I think both the haters and the lovers do some damange to the rep of RRM. The haters are blindly hating and the lovers are putting RRM on an unrealistic pedistal.

For what it's worth I personally think that they are a great company that have done much for this community. But that doesn't stop me from being a good consumer and looking for the best deal or being inquisitive about products.

Forum you were wrong to treat RRM, espically Rock, in the manner you did. As a human being you should be ashamed. You should have just called them instead of hiding behind email, and then forum threads. You and many others need to realize that sometimes when dealing with people on the int0rweb that they are real people you should give some respect to.

Fox

PS- I feel like a just spanked you... do you feel spanked? You should cause I just spanked the hell out of you. Oh and even though your rep has been hurt you should still apologize and make the best of the situation. Be a man now. That's all.

mayb i went at it the wrong way, sue me....
if this forum is not meant for talking bout products than wuts it for, being intellectual and trying to proove ppl wrong, its a damn car site, for car stuff, not being a smart ***

I'll agree with you on 1 point but will disagree on the other. Yeah you're right. The grill has a bad fitment. But he doesn't deserve to be bashed. No one deserve to be bashed. You are though entitled to let us all know about the issue. And you did. If it ever happens again... just choose a maybe less "destructive" "bashing" wording. That's all. And I think that's what the other people here are trying to say.

sometimes it isnt because of RRM, if they have an X an=mount of grilles that they sell all from the same batch and 1 of those grilles theres a complaint, then what would you expect....
Yeah... but by the looks of it, we're talking about more than 1 grill, and more than 1 batch

my RRM CF grill Fit perfect on my stock hood no gaps or anything like that, but it goes in my VIS hood, and theres a gap? now is that RRMs fault? CMON
In your case? No.

and people wonder why other companies dont invest inmore things for the lancer...
It's not because of bashing. It's because of people not able to put their money where their mouth is.

Brain washing, mindless zombies, loyal customers... all words used in this post to attack.
To attack? Not really. To sensibilise people to what's happening is more like it.

Maybe that's just to adult for some though huh? What a BS post... made even more BS buy little kiddies that look for ways to aggitate while not actually getting into the fight physically. GOT TO LOVE THE INTERNET!! Only place you can play these games without fear of getting called out!!
And you call your-self a grown-up? Grown-up don't get into physical fight. Grown-up solve their problem without hitting anything or anyone. Grown up solve their problems with words not fist.

.................................................. .................................................. ..........|
Anyway... the most important part to this whole thread I think is this V

If there is a problem with the grills or the mold, I will pull all of them off the shelf and test fit them before shipping any other grills. If the mold is warping I will replace it.
See. Now that's a wise business decision. And I give props to RRM for doing it

Bad products sometimes make it past quality control in almost EVERY type of business out there, its a fact of life.

Your right. But you shouldn't see the same defect in more than 1 batch no matter what business you're in. If all the mentionned grills come from the same batch it would be 1 thing. But I highly doubt they are.

RRM would have done that anyways if you emailed them pics. They are top notch and going to be around for a long time because of their comittment to Lancer guys!

I'm glad this is getting rectified!!!!!

Forum I'm behind you 100% not that it means anything. You may have gone to the extreme but the fact is that you got an inferior product.

All of you saying stuff about people rippin on RRM need a reality check. Some of us have had bad experiences. I don't need to elaborate any further on that since the product has been discontinued but I'll say this, no customer deserves to be treated poorly simply because a business doesn't see a product as being defective.

The good part is this should never happen again with the grills once the mold is checked and redone if necessary.

That's the way it should happen. Then the new guys that buy the product won't have one iota to stand on to complain because the grills will be perfect.

Peace...

Please no personal attacks. When you do that, you're no better than he is.
