MobileHid.com Poor Cust. Service

Just a heads up to anybody who is looking to do HID's into their vehicle. I bought a kit a few months back from mobilehid.com and everything was working fine. One day the lights stopped working and I noticed I had melted the wiring harness. I ordered a new wire harness, no big deal. Installed everything back in place and the new wires harnes kept blowing the inline fuse everytime I tried turing the lights on. I replaced the relay, still nothing working so I called them and they said maybe one of the ballasts was bad and to send them back. I sent eveything back about 3-4 months ago and have never heard back from them. I sent 3 emails and left a voicemail with no one on their behalf contacting me back. So not only did I not resolve the fuse proble, I can't even get the non working kit back in my posession that has been paid for. Just wanted to give other owners a heads up of what type of problems they may have from a customer service stand point from mobilehid.com

Thanks man, I'll be sure to stay away from that site... sounds like they did a disappearing act on ya.

Funny how everyone in a company will seem to disappear if something goes wrong, yet they will always keep on selling to people taking their money for crap products.

...well in the crappy companies anyway.

The problem is I ordered them so long ago and they have been long since paid for. They advertise work great for 08+ Lancers on their website I just don't want any other fellow board members supporting their BS business they run over there.

That really sucks, their kits look easy to use and seems awesome. I'm not sure what other companies make a harness that bypasses the drl but I'll definitely stay away from them now.

Sorry to hear that you are having problems with them. I have ordered 3 Kits from them in the past year and had a problem with only one. One of the bulbs kept going out and they sent a replacement bulb with out me sending back the origonal. Unfortunately I am still having the problem and need to send the entire kit back so I'll let you know how that goes. But so far MobileHID has been very responsive in helping me with my problem; and the other two kits have been performing flawlessly since the day they came. No issues with the wiring harness but there is a lot of buildup on the battery terminals. Best of luck and I'll mention your issue with them to see what they say.

I had temperature issues with one ballast kit I bought, and it took a bit of emailing and such to get a response, but they ended up sending me an entirely new kit for free (didn't even ask for that, they just out and sent one) that has been troubleless through the winter. They've also sent me replacement bulbs because of manufacturing defects on previous ones.

Hey there gbwaacha!

Sorry to hear about your bad experience man. Sometimes we get packages that don't have return addresses or any information in the package to let us know why we are receiving the package.

PM me your information and I'd like to help get you sorted out man.

Thanks.

Clifford
