aren't OZ's and ES's identical except for exterior additions(skirts,rims..etc) and strut bar? I thought engine's were same.

Exterior and interior improvements on the OZ. Plus the OZ wheels, obviously. And it's a sway bar, not a strut bar.

The OZ also has a slightly different suspension in terms of perches (larger) and the strut mounts (OZ's have larger holes on top - don't know why). But these subtle differences make the ES guys nuts when they try to do a suspension conversion.

you dont have to change anything to install a sway bar. but if you want to change the struts to OZ struts, you need the upper mount and bearing to do so.

 

Yes he does- the ES doesn't have sway bar perches, because it doesn't come with a sway bar, so he'd have to buy those, too.
