i agree that if accolade has a policy on their site that says that they are not responsible for the things that have happened, then they are not responsible.

why dont they tell this guy that. why do they ignore him and beat around the bush when they do finally talk to him. doesnt make any sense to me.

as a business owner myself i would be very upset that my product didnt reach a client in a condition that said product was able to be used for its intended purpose.

this is copied directly from accolades site.

SPECIAL NOTE : Accolade Orginal Products are sold less than Illegally Copied Items. So why waste your money when you can buy the Original Accolade Bumpers less. Also our kits ensure 100 % Orginal Fit. You may have to spend hundreds of dollars if you buy Non Accolade Products

it says that they ensure a 100% fit. well it doesnt sound to me like they did that at all.

i think that this is a bunch of crap and that accolade is not doing what a good business should do. i actaully own a business that builds body kits and stuff liek that and i was still thinking about purchasing an accolade kit because i thought they were good and i like the designs that htey have. but i am sure that i will not be buying anything from them now. anyway, i hope this gets resolved and i am sorry that your hood is screwed up.

hopefully accolade will man up to their problem and fix it.

1st of all, accolade is a registered vendor and you barge in here with an un-registered business and try to sell your ****. 2nd of all You didnt read their WHOLE site. This part totally disclaims Go_Lancer_Go's case:

Condition of Sale: All sales are final and all products sold by ACCOLADE COMPOSITE TECHNOLOGIES (The Seller) are sold "as is" to the Buyer.

Warrant /Liability: ACCOLADE COMPOSITE TECHNOLOGIES sole warranty for any and all products sold is set forth in the warranty documentation associated with the product.ACCOLADE COMPOSITE TECHNOLOGIES gives no warranties, express or implied, including, but not limited to , the implied warranties of merchantability, and fitness for a particular purpose. ACCOLADE COMPOSITE TECHNOLOGIES will not be held liable for any damages which are incurred directly or indirectly on the vehicles or operators or passengers of the vehicle.Due to the density and nature of aftermarket hoods it is not covered under warranty. All hoods are sent with the understanding that any claims in regards to damages to this particular item are negated by the carrier truck company. ACCOLADE is not held liable for any damages.

I dont have to claim anything I just let my current trader rating feedback stand for itself. Which is already well above 90% of the vendors we have on EvoM.

I got my body shop guy to fix it which costed me a arm and a leg but its still sh*tty. He did a pretty good job but where the hood stand is, its cracking, that part where it was originally cracked is started to crack on the side AGAIN and the hood doesnt fit completely flush
I apologize that the back bumper had little chips... We certainly did not ship it out that way or intend for it to arrive in that condition.. As far as the hood people in the TS GB will recall that I even delayed shipping a day or so for speical boxes for the hood.. It turns out that the smaller box made it too easy for mishandling on behalf of the trucking company.

We have since changed shipping methods once more and h8yourv8 will tell you that he has recieved an Evo VII hood completely intact under the new shipping.

How can you make a case that our product is poor.. it sounds to me that it is a case of damage which is unfair to us.. as we do take very good precautions to ensure they arrive in good order.. and we are far far above the competition now..

Just compare your experiece with Import Trenz:

Now in regards to our kits comments like the below abound on the forums.. hell check my 100% feedback and read it for yourself.. why is that when we get a positive thread of praise there are only 2 posts following to its credit.. these content customers rarely speak up.. but I do thank Viciouz and others who will attest to our current success..

That is not a customer service number nor is it one that we advertise.. Our phone lines are listed on body-kit.com and you have spoken to the appropriate reps already.

1st of all, what the hell are you talking about? whether Sleek is a registered vendor or not that is not the point. Being a registered vendor means **** in this thread. this thread is about a company who promised a product in a SPECIFIC condition and never delivered. That "legal claim" DO NOT disclaim GO_LANCER_GO at all. Accolade says that their products fit 100%. The hood did not fit 100%. In legal disclaimers you can claim certain things, but not everything is claimable. If you leave your car in a parking garage and at the front door there is a sign that says "owners of garage are not responsible for lost or stolen items" thats great but in actuality if the garage is broken into and belongings are stolen that garage IS RESPONSIBLE. Selling a product or service you are responsible for certain things. In this case (even though their disclaimer says otherwise) if the hood was damaged BEFORE shipping it is ACCOLADES responsibility, if it was damaged during shipping it is the shipping companies responsibility! Ignoring a customers complaints completely only shows a company doesn't care, this is not the first situation either. How can you defend and company that does this?

And as for your ignorant *** comment regarding sleek... don't bash another company (registered or not) because of your ignorance. If that company (whoever they may be) delivers there products in fitting condition then why would you bash them? How many products have you purchased from sleek concepts? how many stories have you heard about sleek? Whether their service good or bad why would you talk **** (as ignorant as you did) without dealing with them personally?

That is true. The body kit and the second hood both arrived in perfect condition. I was really impressed with the way they were packed compared to other kits I have bought in the past from other companies. What you people don't seem to understand it that there are thousands of shi11y body kit companies out there. They don't make kits for Lancers so you don't have anything to compare Accolade too other than I.T. who has more complaints than Accolade and hasn't even been around as long. It's not Accolade's fault that ODFL can't ship something in one piece but I think it really depends on the delivery men cause my box was even in good condition when it arrived and my kit went over 2500 miles.

Go_Lancer_Go I'm sorry about your kit but your car does look great and you shouldn't have had the shop fix the hood it if you were planning on making a claim

First of all you dont need to lecture Kareem he has a valid point.. and yourself and sleek are taking words on our site out of context.. it says this:

What does that translate to me..

From my understanding I read it as that our kits being originals will fit as they are supposed to 100% original Accolade, because the term is original in context to those who copy us i.e. Import Trenz...

do you not understand?

Wow why are u defending sleek so furiously... I never attacked them, I simply pointed out that they are not a registered vendor. They are selling products on this site without the consent of the owner, which is indeed a big problem. Accolade got **** for this when they did that. They are a registered vendor now.

I think you need to invest your time elsewhere you are only adding to the confusion of this thread..

I dont think I have ever dealt with you before and if that is the case you dont have much room to talk.. people choose what they want to hear if you ignore my feedback you are being ridiculous... issues arise when the customer does not follow procedure case in point..

A casualty of doing business on the web is that when a case like this arises it is open to public debate.. especially when a company is always on the board listening to your concerns and striving to better..

How can people defend us, easy they know how we operate and we have gained both their respect and their trust.

word ive dealt with dave plenty of times and he has been very professional with me every time. always gets back to me the SAME DAY! when i do order my kit it will be with ACCOLADE because of what people have said to me Kareem has an ACCOLADE kit and its flawless other people on here have exccellent kits you people just focus on one problem and take it from there not every kit is going to be perfect look at all the other kits on here that are being sold they have problems and they are ALL doing the best to come to a better solution whether it be refunds or new kits. If you haven't dealt with dave you shouldn't be on here judging him or ACCOLADE.

I feel bad for you kid because that's an expensive way to learn your lesson. It's not your fault...bottom line is you should have never had to go to a body shop if this kit is supposed to fit a Lancer.

Garrick has been posting for about 2 years on why you shouldn't do business with Accolade, people just dont listen. Aside from all the horror stories. And Dave, I dont know you because I choose not to do business with Accolade, but please save the "check my feedback" mess, Enron also trumpeted rave reviews when we all know what happened there. and being a Vendor on this site? That and token gets you on the bus...big deal.

Bottom line is that:

#1 Company is in Sri Lanka, far from U.S. jurisdiction...I mean for crying out loud, the picture of their 2 barefoot employees holding a bumper should tell you the conditions these things are manufactured under

#2 FIBERGLASS! Unless you have a show car and dont intend to commute, the minute you hit a squirrel or racoon...say bye-bye to your $500 bumper

#3 The countless amount of complaints all over this website........this should be #1

#4 FIBERGLASS!

Not Go-Go but fellas considering a body kit, save up $200 more dollars and get a Urethane kit for Kryst sake. I wont $hit on Accolade or Dave...but I will $hit on fiberglass kits...you children will all have to learn the hard way.

First off Dave, "Also our kits ensure 100 % Orginal Fit", to me and 90% of other people would read this as OEM fittment. So if it was meant otherwise then no obviously I don't understand perhaps it should be a little more clear.

As for defending Sleek so furiously, the first point you made was an attack to that company. The thread was about an issue that had nothing to with registered companies. I can see how the forum would give **** to ACCOLADE and the **** should be given to Sleek and any other company that sells product here and is not registered, but that was beside the point.

As for "...invest your time elsewhere you are only adding to the confusion of this thread." The orginal post that I posted was regarding using "disatissfied customers" photos illegally, a point that was made in the first post. The rest of the comments come from ignoring customers complaints. There are three people in this thread alone that have made that comment. My concern is not with your product, and yes you have not dealt with so I don't have much room to talk regarding quality. On the flip side to that I run my own business and in fact my business works with other companies dealing with situations just like yours. Creating business bigger and better in the prospects eyes, and 99% of the problems all usually revolve around customer service. So anything said in this thrread is a situation I have run into 1000x before. So as for me making a comment on the part of "lack of customer service" that was described, I have all the room in the world to talk.

Also as for taking comments out of context the only comment that was taking out of context was "Ignoring a customers complaints completely, only shows a company doesn't care, this is not the first situation either. How can you defend a company that does this?" The point is that lack of customer service shows a company is not willing to right any wrongs showing that exact point. If a customer claims that he has spend countless times trying to get in touch with a company and that company has gone so far as to block them from an MSN list then there is a serious problem. Again I'm not bashing quality, my comments are only regarding the customer service side. I can understand the point of not wanting to replace something that a body shop already attempted to fix, if you never saw it before the attempted fix how would you know it was broken. At the same time you have to understand the point of a customer who is obviously frustrated that he can not get anwers to a problem.

Marques,

Wonderful for them. I am happy for them. The last thing I wish is for them to have a bad experience with their Lancers.

But my point is this. When you are about to drop $500+ bones on your ride.....you have a responsibility to self and to your car that you know what you are getting into. Like I said, I wont talk bad about the guy who got screwed by this kit, nor Dave, nor Accolade. But where there is smoke there is fire....that's my opinion. Why mess with Accolade after all these horrible threads? Why mess with a company who's corporate head quarters are based in a 3rd world country? Not manufacturing...I mean the brains of the company......Why give your $ to a company that illegaly uses intellectual property on their website? Why mess with Fiberglass after all the threads about warping, cracking, and damage? Would you really be surprised by fitment issues when you have to remove saftey components of your ride to make the product fit? Just too many factors to even deal with the company.

How many threads have you read about Kaminari issues.....Fitment? Quality? Customer Service?
