Accolade Discussion [ALL THREADS MERGED]
Accolade's an awesome company, and they have helped so many out, they helped me out in the beginning when everyone was telling me to not get a kit from them, and even now, when i smashed my hood, they are hooking me up with a new hood. How can you say **** about accolade after they do something for u like that. It probably was just the stupid shipping company that ruined ur packages. I ruined my own evo 7 hood, and Accolade is still hooking me up for something that wasn't even their problem or concern. If you got a problem, email dave and dimantha. They will help you out like they helped me out.
I just got home from work and was just informed by Dimantha that Accolade will send me a TechSport Full kit! That will make up for the money that I lost previously. Accolade has a One, Two Punch with these fine gentlemen! They have kept a customer and I'm sure others will see that they are a reputable comapnay! You always hear people complain about not getting contacted and what not, but I have always gotten replies when I've email them! I'm still not gonna be relieved until I have the new kit in my possession and make that it is not damaged like the previous kit, But I cannot thank Dimantha and David enough! After you guys getting this resolved, I really don't think thatanyone can bash you guys about anything else, especially seeing as how my situation was so out of control and you guys are rectifying it! Once again thanks guys YOU BOTH NEED RAISES! That is customer service, trust me I work at Best Buy! Just make sure you guys get back with me to see if we can get that kit to me asap or if you wanna wait and send it after the move, ok? Good night!
ACCOLADE = Terrible Company & Customer Service...
Okay so as most of you might know ACCOLADE claims that they have changed and that Dave@Accolade has tried to turn the business upside down and make it perfect Customer Service. WELL THAT IS FAR FAR FAR FROM TRUE!!!!!!!
Let's go back to when the EVO VII TS Group Buy was going on....
It took them forever to get the product shipped to us when we were promised around May and I got it finally around July.
So July 9th came around and I finally got my kit, it was delivered to my work and My dad, brother and I took it over to my body shop and unpacked it and everything and The back bumper had bad flaking and chipping. Heres the kicker though...the hood was jus total SH|T!!! The side was cracking and the horn on the end was busted. I got my body shop guy to fix it which costed me a arm and a leg but its still sh*tty. He did a pretty good job but where the hood stand is, its cracking, that part where it was originally cracked is started to crack on the side AGAIN and the hood doesnt fit completely flush.
SO THATS THE SH|TTY PRODUCT PART!! NOW LETS FAST FORWARD A LIL BIT AND COME TO THE CUSTOMER SERVICE PART.....
Okay so I started noticing this part and I took it back to my body shop guy and he told me that this hood was a total nightmare and that he could fix it but he would have to cut out that part and rebuild it back up and all this stuff and whatever he does will make the hood heavier. He told me to go back to the manufacturer and see what they can do for me.
So I remembered that Dave@Accolade said that he has helped alot of ppl out and me remembering that I first tried the number I had for him: 1-909-881-5000 ....
DISCONNECTED!!!!!!!!!!! Okay so I decide to try and e-mail sales@body-kit.com. They told me that it was a shipping problem and they needed to know the following:
Hi Sir if you are making a Damage Claim, please send us the following information.
1) When the Package was received.
2) If the Trucking Company and the Driver was notified,
3) If So Trucks Number and drivers Names.
Also clear pictures of the Damages.
Once you send these details if the Damages are clear you may have to ship the kit in the original packing so please save all those.
Okay and I also called them right after that and the guy on the phone in Sri Lanka told me that they only have Limited Warranty on Bumpers and Side Skirts and NO WARRANTY on hoods and spoilers.
Then in the morning I get a reply to this e-mail:
Hi Sir,
We are unable to make a Damage claim as you have all ready stated that the hood has been fixed by the body shop,
If it was shipped to us in the Same Condition which its was we could have claimed it from ODFL.
Shipping/Handling: Please make sure everything is in satisfactory condition upon delivery. We are not responsible afterwards. . If claim is needed to be made, please save all original packing materials such as box, box filler, labeling, tape or claim may not get fulfilled upon request. As soon as you recieved the products check if the they are damaged and show it to the Driver, Also obtain Drivers Truck Number, Drivers Name, ID and also get a slip signed by him.Once this is done you will have to take Clear Images, of all the damaged parts and Ship us back all the damaged parts back. After claim is made and the motions are completed entirely, only exchange of same part that was originally damaged is acceptable. Buyer shall pay shipping fees if product needs to be sent back to factory for repairing, and Buyer shall also pay all shipping costs on all products returned for any reason to ACCOLADE COMPOSITE TECHNOLOGIES
So I told my dad and I dad told me to write a e-mail back b/c it wasnt a shipping problem, it was a defective hood they sent me. So I wrote a e-mail saying that

What you guys have failed to understand is that that this is not a shipping/Handling issue. The hood itself was poor quality so in turn I spent more money to my body shop to get the hood in satisfactory condition. The hood is a defective product. I also can get a signed copy from my body shop person and my witnesses showing that, that hood was of poor quality.

Then I sent a e-mail asking if they could give me a number for the California location,

and he disconnected, then a couple hours later I d/l-ed this software that tells you if u r blocked on n e one's list and sure enough...Dave blocked me!!!
Its pretty sad b/c I havent even threatened n e one, I jus want some compansation for a new hood and they didnt do n e thing for me.
I bet no one from Accolade will respond and jus to let everyone know, I went to 4 body shops today to see if it can be fixed and they all said no and if they did it would cost me almost $1000.00 and they CAN'T guarantee that it wont happen again!!!!
I hope n e one who reads this will never ever ever ever go to Accolade again!! They are what everyone says they are...CRAP AND EVEN MORE CRAP!!! I've learned my lesson HUGELY!! Only way I'll go back to them is if they help me w/ my issue...and I am getting a car in the next year or so, so its in there best interest to win my respect back and also I get alot of compliments on my car and I was planning on putting there decal on my car but HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL NO!!!!

dude i believe this is ur 3rd post about this.... or i just keeping reading ur post over and over again.... did u call the Sri Lanka number?? (i stopped reading it.... too damn long) if not then it sounds like this is more of a YOU problem.... They said in the e-mail that the CALI wharehouse is just for SHIPPING.... and in that case why would you call that number.... I dont mean to be an ***... but you need to talk to dimantha... E-mailing dave's personal MSN account is not what you need to do. You Need to contact someone at the SRI LANKA location....

maybe u should read the whole thread!! They dont reply to my issues, so how am I supposed to get the issue resolved?? How is this a "YOU" issue... ??
Again, maybe u should read the whole post 1st...it maybe too long but it gives everything they did so that way, no one posts a billion things all confused...I've read enough threads to know that!

As long as people keep buying this crap this stuff will happen. This is one of many many posts I've read about this. ya..i read the whole thing... that could be an english 101 essay haha. but anyways...dang that sux. people but are goin through some stuff with the Import Trenz kit rite now too... i hope it doesn't end the same way. good luck.

i'm guessing you spent in the upwards of $1500... nobody signs for my packages if i know it costs that much... having dealt with glass claims before, the package could have easily been claimed..
i'm not blaming you, i actually thought about buying an accolade front end, not anymore though...
