Accolade Discussion [ALL THREADS MERGED]
you know whats funny.....my hood also came damaged from accolade......note* after almost 3 and a half months of wating for my kit to come in.....and yes...the kit fit horribly...i mean dam i had my body shop practically re-fiberglassin the whole damn kit..to get waves out, to get it to fit, to make it look right...HORRIBLE....thumbs down for accolade....worst company ive ever delt with... hope they read this thread....actually...i'd stick this thread up their a$$..bastids cost me more money at the body shop to get it on cause of the horrible products

Man that sucks, my hood came cracked and didn't fit but Dave shipped out a new one the next day. I did notice just today though that it's starting to crack which really sucks but I think it's the body shop that ***ked it up. The whole kits fits great though

doode, you can say wateva you want. but accolade is the best company out their for our cars. here this. I smashed my own hood from my own stupidity, and guess what. They gave me a free hood, free of charge. Will ne other company do that for you? No, they wont, only ACCOLADE will.

So they'll replace a hood from owner abuse but they wont replace a hood from damage during shipping?

how is it they did it for you but they wont return my calls or e-mail and too boot they have my car on their website making there cheap a$$ look good!!!

Go Lancer Go as far as the hood goes your unfortunately on your own. Dave blocking you from MSN and the boys in Sri Lanka dinking you around just goes to show you and the rest of the members that Accolade really doesn't give a ****. They can complain about companies like Import Trenz all they want but at the end of the day they are no better. I personally would never buy anything from them. Just reading a tenth of the threads around here all you hear is the same stuff. As far as your car on their site without consent goes.... you have all the leverage in the world.
My company used a photo found on a site that allows member to d/l free images and use them for whatever purposes. Unfortunately the image we used was actually copywritten by the photographer and uploaded to this site without his consent. Needless to say guess who got sued. We had a huge battle and in the end came to an agreement. The photographer was NOT a professional photographer and it was only a hobby for him, but none-the-less the photo was his and even though we didn't know we still got into **** for it. Unless you signed something or sent an email or had a phone conversation agreeing to allow Accolade to use that photo... you might want to talk to them and see if perhaps the two you can work something out.

I had sent a PM a long time ago stating that I didnt want my car on there site til this issue is resolved and jus a week ago I was browsing on there site and my car was on there, I was llike "wtf"
Damn man that really sucks!!!I have to say my kit was k style that I got in the group buy here about a month and a half ago and when I took it the body shop it needed alot of prep work to it. The front and back bumpers had alot of small cracks that needed to be fix before it could be painted.In the end it's almost gonna cost 1100 dollars to get this fixed.I should be getting my car back tomorrow or Weds.So hopefully atleast it will look hot.Oh yeah by the way I saw your car a few weeks ago it looked hott!!! Just to let you know your car has been on Accolades website ever since you posted those pics because I remember searching their site after you posted your pics (like a day or 2 after) and thinking "damn that was fast,they don't waste no time".Hopefully your situation will get resolved.

its not really the shipping ppl's fault. it could be that accolade just stuffed it in the box. a lot of ppl already had problems with their kits. theres only 2 explinations....... 1 .... every delivery company is careless which i doubt or 2 ... accolade does really care how well protected their kits are when being delivered
