Correction: I had to edit the 2g TB as 52mm, not 55mm as thought . . . makes no sense that Mitsu would do it that way.

Rhyzin: what year TB did you have?

By facing the right way do you mean: With the trottle body on the driver's side or do you mean something else.

^ i'm pretty sure thats what was ment by the "right way". I think g4 and down mirages had the tb on the passenger side.

If that's the case, then it's only a matter of routing the intake pipe differently and figuring a way to properly hook up the TB cable

^yup. thats what i mean by facing the right way. 5G mirages tb are on the driver side where 4G and down are on the passenger side. as far as rerouting the throttle cable for the 4G manifold, i think our cables are too long. it would look nasty in the engine bay with all this extra wire about. the cable is hard to bend around anyways since it's a metal cable.

bahamut: i have the '92 NA 4g63 throttlebody. i also have a broken turbo throttlebody around and the 2 are identical except for the throttle body entrance and the NA one doesn't have the vacuum hoses, that we wouldn't use anyways, that are on the turbo one.

Glad to hear the swap worked it was as I beleived.

There is no need for any porting as the 1.8 / 2.0 heads are identical no difference at all except for hydraulic V adj tappet in some models.

I highly recomedn this upgrade for everybody although the 2.0 throttle body is larger diameter so yu will need to port the manifold only at the throttle body flange plate and as you saw - change several bolts etc.

Nice cheap upgrade for everyone with goods results.

More importantly, it allows much larger gains for later mods as you need the extra air flow. This is one of the reasons I beleive the 2.0 has not responded as well to mods as the 1.8 model vehicles and is definitly a improver for the quarter mile times

Mitsiman: wouldn't have done it if you haven't had said anything. most people believed the g94 intake manifold flowed better. thanks

No wonder Mitsu is in trouble financially when they do stuff like this.

Why after such a long run would you completely change a manifold when the existing one already works and better. I wonder how much they paid to have someone redesign it?

Rhyzin- did you port the runners? I just got mine today and it looks like all they need is a slight touch up to remove the little bit of a burr that's at the runner opening. ******* this thing was a hell of a deal! I'm gonna have to spend some extra time getting the throat open to 61mm though

lookslike: have you ported one yet? How much are you porting the throat?
