HELP with tranny

can someone scan a pic or look at my pic in the profile and tell me if the places i piced are the correct one? i change the tranny fluid today and b=now it grinds real bad when i shift.

i hope u didnt use synthetic that made mine grind and made my tranny make noises

I can't tell you where they are, but I can tell you the the drain and fill will not be on the same side.

damn i used mobile 1 synthetic. so i dhould drain it and use a diff brand. remember this is the tranny oil not engine oil but im sure u know that. this is the best i can do with the pic

the drain is at the bottom and it takes a 24 socket then the fill plug is at the top of the case it looks like an oil feel plug

i dun have an evo and im sure its diff than the oz. when i drained it i used a 17mm. im sure the drain is right but im not sure the fill holw is right. this is because of the grinding i have now. its real bad. but i dunno if it is even the fill hole and i might have put fluid in the wrong hole

i was told to def not use synthetic tranny fluid... Just a warning i want everyone 2 know buschur had to rebuild there tranny for using a synthetic..

There is another thread in here that says Redline MTA (or something like that) works like a charm for the Lancer. So maybe synthetic is good for ours?? I know they don't recommend synthetic motor oil, but this is for gear oil.

ok if the synthetic is my problem then doesn anyone know wat i should do to flush it out? and could someone look at the pic i have and tell me if those are the correct holes? just save it and enlarge it.

ok now i have a real big problem. the hole that i labeled fill isnt the right one. i actually put the mobile in that hole and i need anyone that can help to tell me wat to do. i want to flush it out and put watever i need in it but i dunno wat it leads to. so can someone please help me? the image is in this thread but u have to save it and enlarge it.

If you have a standard use 80-90 weight gear oil and just drain the other stuff. Ive replaced plenty trannies in my othe cars and thats the best I've found. If its an auto use Dexron fluid and make sure you replace the filter.
