i'll second that. i just had a similar problem straightened out 3 weeks ago. they cut off my stock flange and welded the cat back directly to the cat. it isn't pleasant by any means. good luck with that. try to get them to fix it out of their pockets; not yours. it was their mishap.

Closed end wrench. PBlaster. torch. Rubber mallet. Leather gloves. and while you're at it get a 7/8" line wrench for the O2 sensor. (looks like a box wrench with a slit cut out... you'll see). Some sort of cheater bar or a long socket-type breaker bar would be helpful. Physics is your friend.

Put on leather gloves. Hot things will burn you.
Heat the part that moves (nut) just a little. This will open the threads some and make the PBlaster more effective.
Spray with PBlaster. Do not place yourself directly underneath the nut at this point. The PBlaster will be hot and will drip onto whatever is below it- your face, abdomen, crotch, whatever. Best to let the garage floor take the hit.
let sit for a few minutes.
Put wrench on nut, push up (or pull down depending on which nut it is). Left-turn= loose.
If no go, strike with mallet.
Repeat above steps until successful.
You can heat the nut to red- that will really make it expand. But in all likelyhood the threads will bust out and you'll have to get a new nut. Ask me how I know. Do not touch stuff that it red hot or that has recently been red hot. You will get burned.
