I just ordered mine from tint protector and they said there are only 3 screws to remove... I hope it's that easy.

One other thing, when I get my windows tinted, I want to tint the rear lights too. Will this last in the weather? And even worse, will the cops hate on it?

I installed my moleskin last weekend and took less than an hour. Very simple to install. I couldn't be happier.

Unfortunately I sold my camera a few weeks ago, so no pics . Its really easy to install though. There's literally 3 screws to remove and the door panel doesn't even have to come off all the way. The weatherstripping comes out fairly easy as well. The big strip that they send is pre-cut/perforated into smaller 1/4 inch strips which make it that much simpler.

20% all around. I wanted it darker, but don't want to get pulled-over all the time.

Well, Mitsubishi just got back with me and they said that they can't fix the problem with the window tint. They are aware of the issue but not with the Lancer's. They are having numnerous people with Mitsubishi Outlanders that have the same hard rubber in their windows. They can't fix it but they can assist in installing the moleskin to rectify the problem. They can't fix it because they don't have the materials to fix such a problem.

But they were cool to help in the installation. Forge t that. I am just going to do it myself and have my tint guy re-install it.

Oh well for that.

I got my windows tinted, and waited almost a week to put them down.
When I rolled down the driver's window it made a popping noise, the whole door panel flexed, and it doesn't go all the way down inside the door anymore. The top edge of the window is slightly exposed when it's supposedly all the way down.
All of the windows smeared with dirt the first time down too. It cleaned off though.
I took it to the tint place and they agreed that something was wrong but said NO WAY the tint has anything to do with it. I'm like rigghhht, a coincidence. He told me to take it to the dealership, not to let them give me BS about the tint causing it, and if they did...I should bring it back and he would tear it apart and prove them wrong. Even though I KNEW it had to be the tint, I made an appointment at the dealership.
The stupid dealership won't even recognize that there's a problem. They said the popping and door panel flexing is all a normal side effect of power windows...and to get the window to go all the way inside the door would throw the whole mechanism out of spec.
The thing is, I know for a fact that the windows went down practically silently and ALL the way down before I got them tinted.

I've also developed some permanent scratches since the tint job.
I'm either going to take it to the tint place and tell him the result of the dealership visit (and hopefully he won't decide to agree with them)...or I might just take a door panel off myself and see what's going on. My guess the entire time is that the bottom edge of the tint is hitting the second seal that sits against the window deeper inside the window.
Does anyone know for sure if there is a second seal...and is anyone else experiencing popping when the windows go down?

Yeah, I had the same problem. When I got my windows tinted, I let it sit for 4 days and when it came down the rubber flexed on the tint and created a popping sound. It also scratched the window tint. I got some fine lines on the tint which are permanent scratches. But my windows roll all the way down, so on that note I am not sure what happened on yours. This weekend, I am installing the moleskin to fix it. I got the moleskin already but now that I see what the moleskin is, man...i could have made the **** myself. LOL! It's just felt on a sticker. hahaha
But maybe, it's a special kind that I can't get at Wal-Mart or something.
Pretty funny. I see the 3 screws that they were talking about, my only concern is when i pop the panel which part am I lining out with felt? I will know shortly. The instructions that comes with the package was kinda vague for a newbie on cars, like myself but I got a guy who is good with these things. I am going to do a video or a details photo set when I get it done and submit here and to tintprotector.com.
