How many miles did you have on your Lancer OZ before the rebuild?

conclusion just get the CEL eliminator and you will be fine.
Not for me hahahahah I live in western washington 20 miles from the beach and they could care less here if we had green chlorine coming out the tailpipe no emission test for me

tranny

I had about 102,000 miles and then i stared to get a tranny flare which is when it would almost forget to switch gears for a second then switch into the next gear late. I bought the lancer for a good low price a couple months ago but the seller must have known that the tranny was gonna go bad soon.

Okay, everything was fine and dandy with the new OBX headers for the last 200 miles or so until I got a "Service Engine Soon" light with the following codes.

P0421
P0141

Any suggestions or knowledge as to why I all of a sudden have these codes? What do they mean and what do I need to do?

I have a code reader so I have reset the light but I will wait to do anything else until I get feedback.

Thx

Well, both of those codes are pointing at your second 02 sensor. Do you have your CEL eliminator on there? Lemme know and we'll go from there.

Well, I did the installation of the header but the rest was completed by an exhaust shop because the downpipe for some reason wasn't right for my car...contrary to what the seller had said. So they welded an extra pipe on but I highly doubt they used the parts we gave them for the CEL eliminator. So I will get under the car before work today and I'll prolly have to buy the spark plug foulers again because they didn't give us the others back...sigh...

Ok, so I put my car up on ramps and see that only the one fouler was left on from when my dad put it on the pipe. After inspecting the work of the exhaust shop I decided that with the clearance another fouler could be put on as specified in the instructions on the how-to for the foulers. CEL was reset and results are pending from the other fouler. Although I really hope that it works with what I have....

maybe if I have to I will put another fouler on...foulers X3

Dude, I want to see pics of what your doing here lol. You shouldnt have to have more than one fouler. Secondly, Im going to tell you something else you dont want to hear, your heater circuit in your second sensor is throwing a code, which could be the whole reason your having this problem. Usually when the heater circuit is malfunctioning, the sensor needs to be replaced. But anyways, because the heater circuit isnt working correctly, the 02 sensor may not be reading correctly and could be throwing the other code because of it. Basically, replace your 02 and go from there. Mitsu OEM sensors in my experience have always had weak heater wires in them, been there fixed that.

*sigh* I really don't wanna deal with the O2 sensor anymore, lol. It's kinda becoming one of those annoyances that makes getting the headers not as much fun. This especially becomes true as the rainy weather approaches in Washington and I can't do stuff with the car much more.

If I decide to change the serpentine and alternator belt I will post pics. Also, I will keep you posted if I get another code.

Until then I will keep motoring on.

IF you use CEL right and your sensors are not F...ed up, you will not get CEL.

Still motoring on...

So far so good on the second fouler and haven't gotten any dreaded yellow lights on the dash. I heard that the CEL light gives you at least 2.5 HP.

Anyhow, here are some pics of the final product.
