Periodic Inspection Notice

My car is telling me its time to get it inspected.

Is there a way to turn this off?

On another note... how much does an inspection usually cost if i were to bring it in?

Or what kinda things do they look for? Can i just check things myself or are they doing some intense inspection?

Thanks =)

if its just a maintenance because of mileage just hold the info button down on a certain part and it should turn off

1. Yes, look in your manual (I genuinely cannot memorize the how-to, so that's why I'm not just telling you)

2. Depends on the mileage. They do different amounts of work at different intervals. What level are you at? I can look it up.

3. They change the oil, check for leaks or tears in rubber parts, check the brakes, etc. Just a standard "anything wrong?" check.

And just to prove I can never figure it out, that post quoted me complaining about how I wouldn't figure it out. Irony at it's best.

As Cam said, you should have gotten a small manual that discusses the maintenance schedule. I have mine inside the house so I can check it from time to time. You can also find the stuff online if you know where to go, but the factory manual is the best info.
