Anyone have leakage?

Today I went to go get my car washed (I was lazy and went to one of the automatic ones).........after I parked my car to dry it off, I noticed that there was white foam dripping onto my carpet on my passenger side, under the dash. Looked under the car and there was like a river flowing........

I opened my door and the leaking inside my car stopped.......

I'm assuming a seal is broken or something???

ALSO - what is the best way to remove bugs? I did a search

I have tried EVERYTHING.....my moms neighbor told me to try goo gone, and someone else told me to buff them out.....that bug/tar remover **** does absolutely NOTHING

Never had that problem. I remember Chameleon had a similar problem I think, maybe you should consult her.

Hell ya I had that problem! It was all comin from the trunk...Whenever my car was on some sort of a tilt, water would soak up my passenger side foot area. It was covered under warranty, it took them about 2 weeks to find out where it was comin from...cant remember where, but I heard that a lot of lancers have had some trunk leaks...so Id check it out! Mitsubishi did a pretty good job replacing it too, they re-did my carpeting too cuz it smelled all moldy n grosse and gave me a loaner car. any questions pm me

Actually, its on the front - not near the trunk..........

I checked the stripping around the windshield, and I believe I may have found the culprit, so I am calling Mitsu tomorrow and telling them about it. Maybe they can do something about all the scatches on my car too .............HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAA

Damn, I haven't laughed like that for a LONG time

Thanks Necros and Chameleon

Let us know if they find something. I want to know where to look if I ever have a problem. My last car leaked (t-tops) and that's no fun.

Drive the car through te showroom glass. They'll pay attention to you then.

Seriously, my Accord had a heater core leak that would dump condensation on the floor. Expensive and bothersome. Hopefully it's nothing more than a bad seal.

No mods on my car though So they can't void me in any way, I love it

I even asked them about the paint, and I got "you need to call the body shop on that." The body shop is like TWO FEET AWAY!!!!!

I'm telling you, some people

Maybe I'll check the EVO out while I'm there

Wonder what kind of "loaner" they are going to give me.......

It'll be a Focus, probably, which is okay. They're actually kinda nice cars.

Good luck with the dealer. Don't let em push you around. You'll do fine, and hopefully they'll give you a free car wash...my dealer does.
