Question Squeaking w/ AEM CAI

Ok so I installed my AEM CAI, with Kareem's help (THX BTW).
Everything is good except for one thing.

There's this *squeaking* coming from the filter area everytime the car
1) starts
2) shuts off
3) changes gear
4) shakes.

It's really not big a deal, the car goes fine, the intake sounds good, but it really is getting annoying.

Do you guys with AEM CAI also have this prb?

i know with mine it squeeked because it was hitting the big plstic box type object that surrounds the battery. i had to re bend the whole bracket underneath just so it moved over. it bugged the crap outta me...hope that helps but check to see if its rubbing there.

ok the same thing happend to me when i installed mine too! its a black bracket that held the stock air box, i think its held in place by two screws and attached to a cable. remove the two screws and you can just pull it off the cable. hopes this helps, good luck!

are any of your cars drops with eibacj or progress springs? that could be the squeeking that is coming from the wheel well, but it sounds like it may come from the CAI. i have the CAI and progress, andi found out its the springs and not the intake.

Turns out it's the intake rubbing the stock air box holder which I didn't take out..hehehe...problem solved.
Thanks for the inputs..
