Subaru STi price announced.
The cf spoiler is only around $480 and it's basically the only way to find one for now, until the small spoiler version starts arriving. I don't think that's a good reason to not get an Evo. I would look at the features, character, and price of each car and base my decision on that instead.
I believe there are a few dealers in Houston selling at MSRP so if one is giving you problems, then check with another.

Don't get me wrong KK, I was a little miffed about the wing at first on the Evo because everything said it was standard and most standard items are included in the base MSRP but REALLY no big deal. Just thought it was humorous the way it was all brought about. I was just curious if Subaru will do the same, that is all. I am still leaning towards the Evo. I just feel that the handling will be better and it seems easier to get more power than to bump up the handling(nothing to back this up guys, just personal opinion so no attacks please). I have put out feelers to see if any other dealers in Houston will be quick to deal with me. I have a friggin cashiers check for the whole amount ready to go an no one to take it from me. To shed a little light, the Evo I have a deposit on had a bad transmission so the had to replace it before I even saw it so that delayed then when the new tranny came in and they assured me that the tech would be there to install it (Friday) they called me at around noon to tell me that he had an emergency and was not there to install it and would not be back until tomorrow. I am taking a risk already by accepting a car that has recently had a new transmission put in it but it is new and not a repaired tranny. So it has been one delay after another. That's why the irrational statement about jumping to the STi.
There is no wing option on the STi. You get it whether you like it or not. The only option coming from the factory is the color of the wheels (gold or gunmetal). The radio will be a dealer install option. I'm certain that nobody will want that piece of junk. Got this from my dealer today. Number one in line and out the door at:
Here's the out-the-door price for the STi:
MSRP: $31,545.00
Doc fee: 45.00
Sales tax: 2,369.25
DMV: 236.00
County fee: 14.00
State tire fee: 5.00
Total: $34,214.25
Indications are we'll be getting three STi's in our initial allocation, but I still don't know what the colors will be. All three cars are pre-sold,
