i thought SS had more HP, stronger engine. thats news to me. maybe i should look into a z28 they are not badly priced and if its the same engine, i know they have potential... how much do they weigh? =X

bolt-ons plus a shot of juice would probably be a fun freeway car.

agree'd ..but is it worth paying more $$$ for some apperance parts?
id rather buy a z28.. and take the money i saved and mod it.

most ss' around here are going for $16k+ .. some even over $20K still
biut you can get a z28 for under $15.. $15K at the highest

they tell you it has a few hp more.. if it does.. its minimal and hardly noticeable.
the engines are the same
the only difference in the motors are the 2001 + came with the LS6 intake manifold

I agree, and buying used you don't have to pay the huge premium for it either. If you could still buy them new, then the best thing was to add all the SS stuff aftermarket. If I was you I'd look a little longer for an SS with fewer miles on it, there are plenty out there.

Honestly, I will let everything go in my car,
You can take my hood , If you're around this area and give me your stocker. But of course give me a few hundreds.
You can take my Hks racing intake, Turboback 3' , Mbc., Greddy TT.
