Guys, there is no more supra. There isn't going to be a Supra anytime soon, and if there is it certaintly isn't going to look like that. I have a friend that breathes Supras, well Toyota in general. He works for the Toyota Headquarters, so he can basically get his hands on anything. He said all the pictures online are just made up, also, if there is another supra u bet it will be turbo.

The 350Z produces a hell of a lot more torque than an S2000.

(348.4 hp)/(.85 drivetrain efficiency)= 409.9 hp at the crank. It seems that the GT3 is a little under rated after all.
That figure means nothing. You cannot accurately measure engine horsepower using a chassis dyno. Strap that same car onto a different model dyno and you'll get completely different numbers.

Well, I hope you are right! It has to be turbo'd, because it truely is the cars character. The upgradability of Turbo car is so easy and cheap, it would be a real shame if they went away from what really made them a popular car (not talking about the Celica Supra, of course).

I think there's only two cars that would have to happen to get me to move over to the Toyota brand.
  • A factory-turbocharged hardtop MR2 with 180HP, 160lb-ft
  • A new Supra at least as capable as the last one
Family is always bothering me why I don't buy a Toyota. It's funny though when there's a gathering. There'll be the following cars parked:

1997 Toyota Corolla CE
1998 Toyota Corolla LE
2002 Toyota Corolla S
2003 Toyota Corolla CE
2003 Toyota Corolla LE
and my Eclipse, soon to be Evolution or S2000

They have no sense of individuality, though I swear one day the lot of them will end up in some Toyota commercial.

Corollas are great... if you like bland A-B appliances.

Toyotas are awesome. I have a Tacoma and it's indestructible. Top Gear left left one at low tide and was swallowed up by the ocean, burned it, had a wrecking ball hit it and it still worked. Called the Hilux everywhere else in the world, it is the truck of choice for the taliban and a variety of other terrorist organizations.

Turbo this, turbo that...

Yeah...turbos are nice, but in the land of 'forced' induction, wouldn't all of these nice V6es (proposed Supra, and 350Z) be better suited with like a really nice Twin-Screw Supercharger?
