400-500hp dd evo or sti?
go ahead, i dare you to buy an sti
i see you want to drift it?
then maybe you should get a subie, but when you get smoked by the first evo you see and you look over at your girl and she has that blank stare, you'll be back here talking about the evo your know looking to buy.
do your own research and make your own decision, and when your done then go by an evo
but as you can see i'm bias, i'm on my second one and thousands of dollars later, and you wont be able to pry the keyes from my cold dead hands
imo 400-450 is the perfect power level for a RELIABLE daily driven evo, and you have a 10sec car. and you'll keep your chick

The STi I drove had a horrible suspension setup and understeered like an overpowered FWD civic.
Exactly... Go to the Subi forums and 99% of them will say STi. Best thing to do is test drive both and make your decision based on what you like.

Not at any track event I've ever been to. I am not hating on Subies... my shop does a lot of work on them, and some of my best buddies race them, but they understeer like ******* pigs. The motors also have a hard time making decent power without sleeving the block. The intercooler/turbo setups are inferior as well. To reliably make the power of a stock block Evo on pump you need a FMIC, rotated kit with a built motor or meth.
If your wanting an awd vehicle to go awd drifting you need a ford fiesta and to talk to ken block. If you must I suppose get an sti but for the love of god do not get an evo and destroy it by doing this to it to impress your friends..
