Evo suspension is not identical to the Outlander. The car went on the dyno but hasnt gone back to the track since the PNW is stuck in its annual 9 month rain cycle now. At 15psi it now makes 221whp and holds it all the way to redline where before it peaked at 4500 and then started a pretty marked drop until 6k where it was down to 140whp.
Currently stock cams and motor but over the winter it will get a LR2.4 and some S1s. Most likely a larger turbo as well as Jeff would like 400whp or so through the auto.

Latest update-
Added an ER testpipe dump and retuned for high boost (finally)-

Next step will be a built motor or cams or both or larger turbo or all 3.
Here is the start to finish of this project so far (still stock motor)-

Hey Im in the middle of this exact project for a customer, except we converted the car to 5spd with full evo transfer case and tranny. built 2.4 pistons and rods with evo8 head. everything is done and ready to start. so my 2 questions are:
1- what is the ratio of the rear end in the outlander compared to the evo transfer case?
2- I still have the outlander ecu in the car and you had said physical modification is needed to get it to work, but I also have an evo8 ecu to use as well and since the car is no longer auto im guessing that is the better route. have any suggestions?

Thanks for the quick reply bro. Outlander is an 2003 so I'm hoping to unplug the outlander ecu and plug in the evo8 ecu. I'm still using the outlander harness and wiring. But the the taxtrix cable yellow plug isn't under the evo lander dash so I'm guessing its a certain wire that goes right to the ecu to enable the reflashing.. know the pin # ?

Happy to see people modifying Outlanders as I think these are cool cars.
I have litte similar project going but the starting point is little easier as in engine comparement already have this with 5spd manual.
Didn't you have 4g63t engine as option at all in US market?
Mitsubishi did Outlander as a turbo from factory and I'm not talking about Airtrek here.
My goals for now are +300hp. Finnish traffic laws are quite strict in modifying cars this "new" so my mods have to be done subtly and factory-like so it won't fail annual inspection.
If interested you can see more pic's from my Outlander from here.

Thanks for the link.
The US market Outlanders werent turbocharged until VERY recently with the new body style change. I prefer the 4G64 for the most part, especially when its a street car such as this.
The plan for Jeff's car at this point is a built motor, cams, turbo kit.
