I dont care if the neon is fast......if you saw that vid against that sti....its no doubt that the evo will kill the neon

To me, the Neon Sr-T just sux... And if the SR-T won, its because its modified and the Lancer Evo aint. But if you put basic mods in the Evo like Exhaust and a better forced inductuion system, defenitely, no doubt the EVO will win!!! Whats was the results of the race anyways?.....

A couple things to consider. First, the Evo is a good deal heavier than the SRT-4 because of its AWD system. Second, the power numbers listed on the SRT are actually LESS than what it actually puts to the ground. In reality, the SRT-4 has about 230 HP at the wheels according to SCC's dyno test. With HP/weight ratios that close, it is really down to the gearing on the two cars and the drivers. It is entirely possible that a stock SRT-4 can beat a stock Evo in a drag race. Now, get them on some corners, and that AWD system all of a sudden becomes worth the extra weight

Balla you tried, but some people just dont understand. Personally, thats what attracts me to the SRT-4 soooo much. Only those who know there stuff, and can put aside the fract its a Neon will respect it on the street. Id love to pull up next to these hicks here in Indiana with there F-bodys or Mustangs, and spank them with a Neon. Or any of the rice thats around. Thats the selling point for me, no one will pull up thinking, "oh, theres a badasss car." Plus its only 19 grand.
