as for that evo guy who got beat, I dont know his time or problem was but I know it wasnt by that much. We all know the Evo is better, its just that the SRT is pimp too...

 

SRT is a little monster, but you have to remember the EVO has better handeling and AWD. No matter how much power you have in a FWD, it still has all the disadvatages a FWD will always have. Saying that, if I were a college or highschool kid who could only spend $20K something on a car, I think I'd seriously think about getting a SRT-4.

I would like to drive a SRT-4, they sound pretty sweet. Never really looked into them when looking at the Evo/STI.

i dont know man.. truthfully i havent driven one yet..and im sure it is fast and all.. but geez.. its still a neon... they..just look ugly in my opinion...

i think if i could only afford 20k i'd be more likely to go for a wrx.... they can look really good.. and you cna build decent power out of them.. i know this kid with a wrx in the 12's...

 

reading past issues of SCC, the srt4 has beat awd cars up the hill climb. i respect that.

 

JMO, but in the end, you're still driving a throw away NEON...

wife had one a few years ago, and those cars are junk...

i'll be watching for headgaskets and trannys to be going in the first 20K miles...

 

I asure you the SRT is no Neon.
It is a great ride...and I'm a devoted Evo driver!
As far as lokks, it's about personal opinion, but the SRT is pretty sweet to me.

Damn Bishiboy you got a F*ckin stable!! I love hot cars side by side. Love both cars, i just hate the fact that stupid people confuse the srt-4 for a regular neon then clown you! the 20k neon is for the much younger crowd (I hate being looked at like i'm a kid racer) the 10k difference is key it sets you in a class of your own!

im not saying its just a neon MECHANICALLY...

its still "just a neon" as far as shape/build goes.. its stubby and fugly.... IMO of course....

i think WRX's look a heck of alot better...
