People are going to be modding the CTR and will likely hurt the perfect balance it has from the factory.
We really don't know what the balance is from the factory.

I didn't find exit speeds much lower than a comparable rwd car. The only difference being understeer instead of over, which gave me confidence.

we have 1000whp Evos that are only good for driving a straight line. Are you saying you would be surprised people would ruin a CTR by adding too much power?

No, I was saying that you don't have to increase hp to improve performance. In fact, until the limits of the engine are explored, smart money would be to focus on suspension, brakes, tires and leave the engine stock to retain the warranty.

If someone wants to cut the springs on their new CTR to lower it, well its their car to destroy.

That's pretty much the point I was making. But people will. Most of them. Others will airbag...Hella camber...
as soon as that demographic can afford them.
We all know the drill.

2500lb? maybe in full race stripped trim... not in any sort of trim you'll wanna drive anywhere other than the track

Well if it rolls off the lot at the claimed 3,012 lbs., I think it will be totally doable. I would remove the stock seats, struts, and spare tire. Then maybe some FRP rear doors with lexan windows. Driveability would depend largely on coilover/spring rate choice.

Plus removing the brand new interior and storing it will end up being an investment, seriously it will.

Ah yes, I see a lot of people buying a brand new Civic only to install fiberglass rear doors and lexan windows.

like I said, for a track only car... you wouldn't wanna drive a car with FRP doors and lexan windows on the street

$35k for a fwd/turbo/CIVIC. A civic. Nope. Not even once. What a joke. You can get a Focus RS, A Golf R, a Mustang GT performance pack, or kind of even a new Camaro SS 1LE in that price range since the dealers still make deals on the Camaro and Mustang.

Laughable that people consider buying this car.
