Civic Type R
ITR best, most balanced FWD car evAr.
My beef with FWD is when FI and regarding modification potential. FWD with lots of torque (modded) can still be crazy fast, but the ability to use that torque into a corner is self-limiting.
People are going to be modding the CTR and will likely hurt the perfect balance it has from the factory.

If someone wants to cut the springs on their new CTR to lower it, well its their car to destroy.
2500lb? maybe in full race stripped trim... not in any sort of trim you'll wanna drive anywhere other than the track
Well if it rolls off the lot at the claimed 3,012 lbs., I think it will be totally doable. I would remove the stock seats, struts, and spare tire. Then maybe some FRP rear doors with lexan windows. Driveability would depend largely on coilover/spring rate choice.
Plus removing the brand new interior and storing it will end up being an investment, seriously it will.

$35k for a fwd/turbo/CIVIC. A civic. Nope. Not even once. What a joke. You can get a Focus RS, A Golf R, a Mustang GT performance pack, or kind of even a new Camaro SS 1LE in that price range since the dealers still make deals on the Camaro and Mustang.
Laughable that people consider buying this car.
