I put myself in some good company this season at Lime Rock, some big guns here. Can't wait for this coming season with more power and aero!
Anything from this decade? From what I have seen, the OEM cats on these more modern performance cars are night and day better.
you make a good point, but the z06 is a ‘19

you make a good point with Nissan and Mitsubishi, but GM usually does pretty thorough testing on their cars that may see track use. Then again they let the overheating thing on the Z06 get through. Maybe it’s cause this particular z06 had a bunch of cooling mods so it’s making full power for the whole session rather than cutting back 50-100 hp half a lap in…
either way, good to see the Supra cat holding up. Personally I don’t like how they sound with a high flow cat or a cat less down pipe, and 10hp power bump isn’t really worth the cost…

I personally dont think GM does too good with cats. I see them melt all the time. Add a blower (Magnuson or Whipple) to a Camaro or Silverado and they are done. That is even with the very conservative off the shelf tunes they supply.
The only reason I put a HFC on my Supra was for the extra noise haha. That and I didnt want to take a chance on ruining the stock one, since you know, CA problems.
