Ya insurance all around luckily. I'll probably do a lot of the work myself and act as the contractor to save some of the money they pay. Again, this is as long as it's not totaled due to frame damage.
that sucks mate at least you have insurance so youll get a replacement if its totalled. Could look to buy the wreck back and turn it into a race car also
Thanks guys. All will be good. I popped the wheel off and it looks like the only real damage is the coilover. Arm and subframe dont look bent at all. I honestly dont think it even bent the wheel.
@Construct I am going to say yes it scooted the car over. How far, that I cant say. Could have only been a foot, could have been half a lane. I really dont recall. Everything happened so fast.
Best part, did not have to work on the Supra at all. Just monitored tire psi and sent it.
That's why I sold the Evo and bought the Supra. I LOVE having minimal maintenance AND not having to lug a truck full of parts and tools to the track.
I don't even tow this thing to my local racetrack.
One more recent note, sorry to hear about the car. Sounds like all will be well. Our fingers are crossed for ya.
Finally got around to mounting some tires on four rear OEM 19x10's I bought earlier this year for a square setup with just some "have fun" tires on them to lap with.
OEM wheels are forged and these where "I can't say no" deal, all four for $470.
I love how cheap second-hand OEM wheels are. For moderately priced vehicles, anyway.
For my Toyota truck, it was cheaper to buy another set of someone's takeoff OEM wheels than to pay to swap snow tires back and forth 2-3 times.
These were actually brand new. Someone did a pricing mistake and a lot of us swooped them up. $118 each for 19x10, now they are back to their normal price of around $500/each. I kind of wish I bought a couple more sets, haha.

I'm surprised they honored the price mistake, especially if it was posted somewhere where a lot of people ordered.
