I know of a lightly used 2021 Supra with about 6,500 mi on it that will be for sale soon if anyone is looking. Completely stock other than camber plates. Never tuned. Base model with Alcantara seats.

After seeing the McLaren 720S walk away from the Supra in that video above, he had no choice but to get one for himself.

 

I've done what I want with it. I like the car, but not enough to drop $10k into taking the next step. None of my friends do HPDE or Time Attack any more, so it's just not as fun. It's become more work than enjoyment. My next car will be fun for the casual HPDE.

That would be a great companion to my other car.

 

Im kind of sad but not haha. At least I wont have to worry about you being in my class next year! Hopefully I can manage to do the whole series but that will depend if/when I get my car back. Good luck with the next car!

 

Did they give you an ETA? I would love to upgrade the car and run B2 next year,.... But it's just not the same to come home from a track day and not have anyone to talk about it with. We all used to compete with each other, hang out afterwards and bench race. All the woulda coulda shouldas.
Now I just go do a track day and that's it.

 

Still no ETA, not even a word if they are going to total it or not.

I am with you on the track day stuff. I have one friend that lives by me that tracks but he only goes to a couple events per year with me. I think you are the next closest track person I know, which obviously, you arent close.

 

It's a bummer. We are a dying breed lol
If you and I were in the same class and we did all the events, that would make it fun.
It doesn't sound like it's really in either of our futures, though.
