you guys are making me feel a little better about the problem. I was looking through my hyper rev mag, and in the drivetrain section, under gears. Two companies sell what looks to be after market stacks. The companies were Jspeed and TSS. I cant read the mag cause of translation but.....theres a shop in chicago where the owner can get anything out of japan. So im gunna call him up make sure these are what i think they are get some prices. Kind of a long shot, but im curious none the less.

Maybe that's because you don't speak/read Japanese.

Interested to hear about these upgraded stacks.

The Power Enterprise Evo kit is for a 5MT. I suspect that someone will eventually come out with upgraded gears though. The kit will surely be big $$$.

05 MR on OEM fluid (although I did use BG for about 300 miles before going back to OEM). Fried the 4th gear sleeve and fork on the track, driver error may have been factor.

Btw, I've been using a cocktail of approx 1.9qts MT-90 and approx .4 or so qts of Heavy Shockproof for the last 500miles and the trans feels better than ever. Very smooth (when warmed up) and the sound has decreased a bunch as well.

We'll see how my temps are at thunderhill this friday.

MTL sucks for our trans. It doesn't have the right ratings (70w80 I believe) and it felt like uber shiat in my car. I would run straight MT-90 over any MTL cocktail. As soon as I put the above cocktail in the car the trans felt 100x better and the whine got much less.
