It's interesting that Andy did not test or show that he tested air pressures above 41. He also did not test Falken's shaved, or did he?

I'm not sure anything above 41 would have been relevant since he found performance fell off at 41. And yes, the B-stones were shaved. Here's the full article:

Bridgestone vs Falken

Errr....I meant to say the Falkens. They were not shaved, just heat cycled according to the article.

REO1Rs are absolutely amazing. I simply love these tires. Their wet performance from the last monsoon of an event here in Philly were just phenomenal!! In fact they caught me by surprised because the more I pushed the better they got, which was not what I was expecting in the wet.

This Sunday hopefully, hopefully will be dry so I can see their performance in the dry v. the wet.

Ahahaha... Forget STU national champs, I'm lowering my goals to beating a stock miata with summer tires

What suspension? .... I still scratching my head waiting for the Vishnu boyz ... I was offered a refund for the revalve but that doesn't help me since I literally have all the hardware to their specs sitting in my garage. I might just show up next time with mismatched springs and coilover valving to show how awesome I am ...

Say Steve, you ever thinking about attending a trackday @ MAM?

Yup. This is where I thought the RE01-Rs would really be worth it, as their wet performance should be waaay above the 615's.

Anyone have a link to the $100 rebate for SCCA members buying the RE01Rs? Also, what is the best place to buy them, besides the tirerack?

You can also go to http://potenza.com/ and click on the $100 rebate then click on SCCA. It will take you to the .pdf.

I am also curious about other retailers besides tirerack...

I think my CE28s are 16.6 lbs? So it will be interesting to see if your combo comes out to 39.4 lbs.
I just weighed my wheel/tire combo on the bathroom scale (I know they're not super accurate, my wife says it's off by 15lbs , j/k)
41lbs for the 17x9 Volk CE28 with 245/45-17 Bridgestones.

Dave,

are u running tomorrow? if so good luck, we have a show in maryland.

these reo1R's arent lasting long on the street with my 2.3 evo. 600 miles and they are showing wear lol.. thats what 2.4 degrees of front camber, and lots of wheelspin get you.

-----------

on another note:

i've mounted and balanced a few sets of REo1R's lately... and they balance awesome... not much spring rate inbalance.

the toyo, advans and a few others have proven to be a lot less "round" lol

Chad-
Yeah, I'm running tomorrow. Derek and Adam are coming so they can get whipped. Have a good time at the show. LMK when you're doing the open house/meet and I'll bring my car in to put in the shop for the day.

Chad, wheelspin? Probably tire melting is more appropriate.

Mac with the smack! C your A$$ tomorrow, same heat 2 cars apart we should have a lot to talk about. Probably you talking and me hanging my head as usual. What tire pressure were you running your last couple of AX's?
