YES, every day. Especially when you browse EvoM daily. I just sold a bunch of non-STU stuff to stop the temptation from glaring at me every day. I just keep reminding myself that I have a LONG way to go before I have the driving skills to reach a point where I feel STU limited power and setup are holding me back, and would make the most of a BSP or SM prepped car. Personally, and I think for many other STU drivers, we are trying to focus on driver improvement without too many other setup variables and expenses that come with more modified classes. Just keep that in mind, and hopefully when you eventually do step to a more modified/ R comp class, you'll be better than the others who stepped up prematurely.
I would hate to be one of those guys we have all seen with BSP, SM or SM2 cars who are slower than STU and AS drivers

Today in Topeka was windy and cool, not very pleasant actually. Patrick, Wolfgang, Corey and Michael were all smokin' fast in the test-n-tune, then there were those of us in the next level......Tuesday should be fun!

Those Pro Solo results are stunning. STU was faster than MANY other classes in raw time.

Street Touring Ultra. It's a Street Tire Class in SCCA Solo and Pro Solo competitions. Established to encourage non-autocrossers to come into the fold of autocrossers with typical mods that an Evo or STi owner may have on their cars. With the exception of tires over 245mm in width and no boost modifications allowed.

This is a simplistic description but it should help you understand the goal of the classing.

Go guys go! I'm sending you all FAST thoughts! Can't wait to hear from the drivers after tomorrow. I know you'll all be busy and tired and probably witholding until it's over, but when it's all said and done, it would be really interesting to see and compare data if you are willing to share.

Good luck to all the STU people in Topeka.

Let's see the Evo beat the STI this year.

Thanks a ton! I can't wait for next year either. Looks like we will unfortunately be losing Chris and Pat since Chris is selling his car though. Hopefully everyone else sticks around.

We all did pretty good and were in the top 10 trophies.

Geoff and Russ laid down some great times on day one. Chris D. and would have been up there except for cones on day 2. Donour, Danny and Silencer (ESP) were there too.

Most all of the Evo drivers (and Colin) are active Evom members on this forum.

2. Geoff
3. Corey
4. Wolfgang - in my car
5. Russ
6. Neary - in Danny Kao's Evo
7. Jake -Dieman
8. Rick
9. Washburn
12. Chris D.
14. Aytinc - coned day 2

Great to see and meet everyone!
