First day at the track yesterday with my MAP oil cooler setup. It was about 90-93 degrees. Oil temps still hit 260F in 3 laps if I was pushing. I think it works better than my stock cooler, by maybe 15 degrees temp drop in similar conditions, but not a complete game changer.

I'm not sure yet. Given I went huge, I'm hoping not. But big life changes coming... again... relocating to STL from Chicago for work. Buying and selling houses. So it'll be a while before I can test. I did book a day at Gingerman for September that I hope to be able to make, and hopefully have gauges installed to get some numbers. We'll see.
V.8MR you need some ducting to direct air to that cooler.
Hmm.. Well, I swapped oil pans at the same time as doing my cooler, so I can't really say how much difference I'm seeing from the Setrab. Currently I *think* I still see 230ish, by the end of my sessions. It's been a while and I lost my logbook, so going by fuzzy memory.
Hottest oil temp I saw in my car was after 4 laps on kill mode tune with the stock motor. 505whp/410wtq. It for up to 235* on the last lap. That's with a 7qt pan and the MAP/Setrab setup.
On the "track" tune which was about 380wtq and 450whp it never weren't above 225, even doing like 6-7 laps.

Keep in mind both of you are in dry climates and V.8MR is in a much more humid environment.

I’m also in a fairly humid climate. I reached 260F this weekend with the MAP/Setrab cooler in 4 laps in high 80 degree temps running 22 psi, probably 375 whp setup. Stock bumper duct. I need a better pan for oil control as well. Pressure light was going on in longer 1.2g right handers. Running 15w-50 and a Kiggly HLA.
I also use the MAP setrab cooler, but in my 10. Back when I lived on the west coast, in about 65-75* weather on track I would see a peak of 260F oil temps by the fourth or fifth lap on a three mile track. It would get up to about 250F after the third lap then slowly start going up to 260F.
This was with 20w50 VR1 oil, MAP higher capacity oil pan, and MAP setrab cooler. So about 6qts or so oil capacity. Approx 520whp in track tune. 25psi boost.
