Sean don't mean to speak on behalf of Austin but im pretty sure his car came with that already installed Otherwise you would be correct and are my thoughts exactly, haha
Haha no I put it on. Bought it for a steal otherwise I'd of built my own. I'm not telling people one way or the other on what to buy for a kit, simply sharing what I have and that the Derale is a very economical solution.
Unfortunately MAP is the only company that makes an oil cooler kit with the setrab cooler. I use it, but reluctantly. I've had to modify their brackets on every single one I've installed.
I put togeather the setrab cooler on my car myself with no issues.. no need to buy any kits..

Whoops thats what I get speaking on your behalf. And on second thought you have gone through a couple motors so would make sense you have a different core. Was just thinking it was another "my car is riding on flags" LMAO

yes, of course you can piece together your own setup. That was my plan originally but after pricing out a 25 row Setrab cooler, it was essentially the same price as the complete kit with lines and fittings. So I didnt opt for the kit bc it was easy but rather the economics.
So. I just put an oil cooler on my car. Setrab 34 row. Used Vibrant lines and fittings besides 2 Susa fittings at the actual oil cooler.
My question is, per the packaging the hose is rated to only 212 F, but online it says 300 F. I've read some folks seeing up to 290. And sustained over 250.
Is this hose going to be a problem? I was under the impression 300 was was good enough, but now I'm not sure if its even that.
Lol, thats because the Buschur pan is essentially a copy of the JUN pan. It supposedly adds some protection on acceleration but IMO the only wetsump pans worth it are Racefab or something to a similar extent with trap doors and larger capacity.

Was going to say this. Buschur pan is a copy of the Jun lol
I can confirm Buschur did the same to mine. I looked at it and decided it only helped during acceleration. No surprise, as I assume their customers are drag racers.

I picked up some bumper shutters, and with the splitter, it made sense to relocate. Plus this thing is big, doubt it would fit in the factory location.
