I'm working on making 18x10.5s fit with little to no exterior work.

The issue I'm finding is that I need 18x10.5 +32 to +34. And the two closest wheels that I've found are the +30 nto3 and the +31 sp1 professors.

Other than those it will be a custom wheel... Ccw and then get pretty expensive.

IMO the 18x10 rpf1 +38 is a great wheel, Especially with a 285 hoosier.
The +15 offset won't work in the rear, so that wheeloption is really lost unless you run a .5 staggered setup. 10.5 up front and 10 in the rear... Which I'll argue is better than a square set given the weight distribution. My 2 cents. Everything volk has is too low of an offset imo

Sure it will. It just takes persuasion.

Is anyone running the 18x10 rpf1 +38 setup and if so, what size spacer up front?

I run the 18x10 rpf1s with a 20mm spacer in the front.

Do you think it will be easy to fit a 18X10 +38 RPF1 with 265/35 tire then?

One great track wheel that wasn't mentioned is the Kosei K1 TS. 17X8 weighs in at 15.5 lbs! I believe they are discontinued, but they are an excellent option for someone who is looking to retain a stock size wheel.

Yep. I had the 17x8 for a couple of years but could never find a used set of 17x9. So I eventually sold those and got a set of Wedsport SA-70.

Yes. 20mm spacer up front. Have coilovers and be prepared to run a 6" spring.

I ordered the perfect wheels today... 18x10.5 +38s. Now I just sit back and wait patiently.

Shameless plug... I'm selling my 18x10 +38 rpf1s w/ 20mm spacers. 295 r888s! I'll include a custom trailing link so you can run floppy hoosiers and not rub!

Okay doesn't seem too bad I'm guessing you are not going to say which ones you got are you? What size springs do most manufacturers put on their coilovers?

Brand new Forgeline GA3R's in Matte Bronze.
They are lighter and stronger than my old set of ZX3R's; same size of 18x9.5"

http://www.forgeline.com/products/co...ries/ga3r.html

My scale shows them around 20lbs. (yeah, the Volks are still lighter).

I ordered some ccw classics. Depends on the shocks. My skunk2 pro-cs and ohlins dfvs are both 2.5" springs.

yeah they are extremely hard to find in other sizes. 17x9 would have been perfect! Either way these are still some of my favorite track wheels. And the dual valve stems for nitrogen filling is legit!

So i have read through this thread and going over the rim sizes and offsets that everyone is listing...

Follow my math here if and let me know if im right

9" rim = 229mm centerline is 114.5mm
9.5" = 241mm centerline is 120.5mm
10" = 254mm centerline is 127mm
10.5" = 267mm centerline 133.5mm

On the Evo IX... from what im looking at i see:

9.5" +35 and 10mm spacer = 120.5 + 35mm - 10mm = 145mm back spacing
9.5 +40 and 25mm spacer = 120.5 + 40mm -25mm =135.5mm back spacing
9.5 + 38 and 20mm spacer = 120.5 +38 -20mm = 138.5mm back spacing

10" + 38 = 127 +38 = 165mm backspacing

10.5" +32 = 133.5 +32 = 165.5mm back spacing.

From what i see is that we have about 140mm-160mm of space from the wheel hub to the most inner portion of the front before rubbing. Am I correct in assuming this? That 20mm is a big window (about an inch)

What level of clearance do we have in the rear to the inner most portion before rubbing?

Big plus 1 for the Wedsport TC105N! Bought a set last year. Well built, very light, and have enjoyed having them on the vehicle!

I think you got the math backward. You add the offset and subtract the spacer.
