Not so sure about that.

I'm curious to know that if they have such a refined system... why doesn't Webber benefit? Why would RB only use the system on one car?

If they using kers recharing system as traction control, could be why webber always has issues with kers.

It does explain the electrical issues. But doesn't explain Webber's (lack of) performance.

Webber's lack of performance cause he suck. Lol
Maybe they were using his car to test new stuff. They knew they were going to end his contract. Maybe he'll spill the beans next year when hes out of F1

If that is what Red Bull is doing you can bet your house that the rules will change for next year stating that the KERS charging system can only be active under braking.

This is no different than the exhaust blown diffuser. Your engineering/design team in F1 is EVERYTHING. If they wanted a 'spec' series they would all be the same cars.

Hey, what do you know... RB called Mark in for an extra stop he didn't need. Imagine that.

Yeah. Hard to spin that one any way but "sorry Mark, not today".

Oh hey, what do you know... Webber is forced to pull over and stop the car. Imagine that!

It sounds like Vettel's car was having the same issue. They had him stop using all unnecessary electronics with like five laps to go. I doubt it was a "keep Webber away from Vettel kind of thing." He had no chance of making up 10s on Vettel in the closing laps.

Comes to finesse, knowing how to use it as an advantage vs over using it. If it were the case I imagine technique and usage are great factors here. Also probably has a rather ghostly line between the two states

I don't disagree with you about Mark not being able to close the gap. I just think its funny that the guy has a 90point lead, could sit out 3 races and still win the championship, yet they let him continue while Webber has to stop.

It seemed like MW's car had a few more gremlins than Seb's did... there was radio communication about the transmission not syncing up (which I assume means it was not shifting at the right times, or not rev matching right?).

Don't forget Seb had to pull over for an alternator failure last year @ Valencia.

You do realize they would win the driver championship and constructor's even if Webber passed Vettel right? To think they pulled Mark off track cause he 'might' catch Vettel is retarded. They are two different cars. I am sure that Vettel;s gets more attention than Webber's but that is beside the point. Obviously Vettel's issue wasn't to the point that Webber's was. They had him stop using stuff to prevent the same thing from happening.

I think its funny how many Webber nut huggers think that everything is to spite him. He IS the #2 driver. The only way he out performs Vettel is when Vettel's car is broken (read no DRS in quals earlier this season). He may get the back-up strategy but what do you expect for a driver who regularly drops 5+ positions on starts.

Furthermore, the fact that everyone whines about the race Vettel took from Webber is hilarious. Webber has tried to do the same on many occasions. Vettel just pulled it off (something Webber hadn't done).
