I think thats eventually where all budget builds somehow end up..

Ah ok. Unfortunately end of Feb wouldn't be doable for us.

Arlington has good feedback and is willing to reuse rods/crank if they’re still in good shape.

Do you have any feedback on them?
No I was curious who the next go to is. I don't want a shop I have to babysit on the next one. STM's are...ookk. MAP's are soso. I really liked the response the 10.5:1 CB built for me. OEM's are great and last forever but are a bit slower.

this is not an exaggeration - i would not run a MAP motor if it was free.

English was great - no baby sitting and the work is top notch.

Stripping and simplifying the harness is certainly legal. Then there's just a lot of simplification in the wiring and how things are run that can be improved. Like the ACD pump wires running to the front then re-routed to the back. Or the battery power routing once I get the battery moved.

What do people do to clean up the wiring going to the fuse panel in the engine bay?

i bet you could pull 30-40 lbs out of the car in wiring.

bryant s putting in the motec PDM that replaces the fuse panel. Cleans it up a LOT

This is a very very big dark hole your about to fall down into haha.

The fuse panel is actually super complicated once you try get into it all. especially with the ETACS ecu etc.

Best thing is just cut and strip any wiring you dont need out. things like all the wiring to the power windows etc if uve stripped the doors. speaker wiring etc etc.

Be careful with anything to do with the ACD as it is so easy to introduce a fault from changing a wiring routing or length etc it seems super sensitive.

The headaches you can introduce from tampering with the wiring outweigh the advantages of the weight savings it gives you in hindsight.

a very dark and very expensive hole.

we’re planning to use the Emtron to control the acd. I’m nervous how it’s going to work.

If you have a good front and rear diff, the viscous works pretty well.

I gotta figure out some motec things so I can add the steering axis to the throttle/braking tables.
