Agreed. rear windows down seem to be driver's preference.
That car seem very different now. Amazing progress.
They should probably look into an PCV-oil return setup where it returns the oil during a cool down
What is everyone's take here on their oil catch can issues? I've never had issues like that, though I'm more concerned going forward at a higher power level.
Windows up is a hazard. As someone who's had a shattered driver's window get sent into his car and spent over 5 hours in the ER getting glass and metal slivers removed from his face and neck I can assure you running windows down is way more safe.

The block needs to be vented, not just the valve cover. Evacuating CC pressure closer to the source keeps pressure out of the head and allows for better drain back. Also, cap the rear valve cover port or leave the stock PCV valve. It will always see liquid oil go into it under accel, there is pretty much no way around that.
Seems to depend on the club but some are 100% down and some are fully up or fully down.
Really? In over twenty years of tracking, I've never been with a club that allows windows up. On some rare occasions some groups have allowed windows up in the rain but overall, always windows down.
Not saying I don't believe you, just saying it's rare in my experience.

there is also a right-hand-turn issue with the PCV. I have VTA on both ports and I'm only getting oil on the trans(exhaust) vent so far

lapping vs timed events i guess. maybe full face helmets will be required

Yeah, rain is where I've seen windows up being allowed. Also rear windows up I've seen and why we see the window vents so windows are "up" but with the vent letting air out for airflow in the cabin.

That makes sense, but is there any way to vent the block if you still have balance shafts?
