Thatd be like "can I remove my radiator". Most cars use the coolant as a means to control oil temps, but as sean said, Im pretty sure there would be problems just letting it go uncooled.

You can buy the setrab cooler by itself for like ~$225. They're not that expensive.

If you have bad luck with it, the worst way to attempt solving that is by making shortcuts.

Makes sense, but not in my case. I'm just cooking up a backup plan. We're taking "shortcuts" of course

If you have a part number off your Setrab or can measure it and know the inlets (tho I think most or all of Setrabs stuff are M22 inlets) I can get you a replacement cooler.

They also fill their coolant galleries in their blocks with concrete lol.

Drag racing is unique when u run methanol it runs so cool you dont really need coolant hence why alot of drag cars dont run radiators and coolers. they still have to be careful to not let them idle too long and they only do like 8 seconds at power then shut down

Drag racing is all about thermal capacity. Just need to be able to hold the heat not necessarily shed it. That why bar/plate ICs are so popular for Evos and DSMs.
