Time Attack Advice
I took a DEEP discount when selling. Damn it
I bought mine on advice of someone that was very successful on them. At the time there were people that were revalving them. As soon as I bought mine and started looking to have it done, BOOM. Nobody was doing it any more. I even know a guy at KW, here in town, and not even they would touch them. Only Clubsport and above. The V3 absolutely S U C K E D in stock form. Horrible spring rates, valved too conservative to run anything stiffer.

Driving style is a huge factor in getting the shocks to work for you is what I'm thinking. No 'enthusiast' with Ohlins has beaten me yet lol. I bought it new for around 1700 so not badThat youtuber EvolutionAutocrosser mentioned on FB hes sending his V3 to KW in CA, Waiting to see if he actually reached someone to work on it
I eventually had 900lb springs and it seems ok but honestly I'm normally braking well into the turn, my shocks dont get a chance to work

If you work something out and I can help, let me know. It's super easy for me to run over there, if you need help.
The guys at KW are REALLY awesome to deal with, so I really, really wish I used their stuff.
I'm getting another set of Ohlins for my Supra. Although I have started thinking bad thoughts and maybe going up another level to MCS...
I didn't ever ride in an Evo with them but the Subi I drove with those was super harsh on KW V3s. Like low speed compression ramped up way to fast or something. It was terrible to drive.
I don't know if theyve done different things since then but the KW v3 for my Tesla ride pretty great. It was a massive upgrade over the stock stock shocks.

Really? LOL I won ASP Texas National tour against p-cars with veteran drivers with them. Honestly I cant tell what a good shock is. Maybe the V3 was more in my mediocre level, I dont throw the steering wheel like I see some pros do
When I bought mine, I got them for far less than Ohlins. I think their reputation was already building at that point LOL. But, the main reason I bought them was because KW was also rumored to be moving to my area (they did) and I thought local support would be super awesome.
Yaaaa....I did the same to the FE X lol. Kept it 1-way to keep costs down-ish, if I really "do" something with it you can always upgrade the same shock! But the difference between my 08 on ohlins and this one on MCS is not EVEN in the same ballpark...or city even. My major annoyance is the Vorshaft top hats because they literally use the 3 bolts for the strut bar to lock the base alignment position in. Go to work on ANYTHING on the turbo and....slap there goes your alignment...*#*@(!
