Thanks Kevin. Will look into it soon. Maybe an inline hose drain would simplify things for me

Yeah, it could be made differently to use the stock air pick up too... this draws air from the driver side wing only and is made from 2 pieces of folded plastic sheet... will make more pics one of these days as it is offthe car now..... it is loud as hell.. hahah..

My car will have the fan on the front and different turbo location so I might make a different setup for it (I also have a longer filter)

Solenoids arent really that exotic of a part. I wonder if we can disassemble and remake wear items. Someone send me a bad pump

at some point I wanted to have the solenoid bodies (the valve part that goes inside the pump) made as a replacement as this was the part that breaks. Then someone in the UK started making it. The issue is that to do it properly we would need to test it afterwards and sort of calibrate the valve. At the time that was outside of the resources and time I had.
Another option is to use valves that are available for other uses (such as automatic transmissions) but that also leads to research into what is available and what changes need to be made. On EU and JDM cars there is the added problem of having proportional AND directional valves...

I also contacted the original manufacturer but they were not interested in dealing with anyone but mitsubishi.

how is the intake actually getting air without a hole in the headlight? that air guide on the rail doesn't do much (and can't fit my radiator, csf, which has a bump there for reasons unknown to me. obviously the box is not air tight lol but there can be a lot of suction depending on boost
