I've seen them working very well locally, especially for 2 driver cars.

seriously, there are so much to break--upgrade-repeat on an evo, even on a basic bolt-ons evo, in order to get it to 'ultimate' level. by the time your car is ready there will be new tires in the market.
Dont keep the car on jack stands too long. Goodluck

no i'm not interested, except maybe that evo on 15" wheels. this year you think?
googling is more for getting an idea where you at driving skill level. those national championship level guys are out of this world. you'll need more than an ultimate build. as I said I know several people enjoying the build up, but not much getting out T&T

what? i'm not a top tier ultimate street racer lol. i'm just saying the car needs to get out of the garage quickly so you can work on the driver and other moving parts. if you want to entertain ideas to try, get the car rolling first.
the sad story about evos is many stay on jackstands too long. this is made worse by the fact people are happy enough posting pics and vids of their build "effort" and shiny parts

I don’t post picture online, I do this for myself and I have other cars that I spend the weekend driving at autocrosses, track events etc. keep pretending you know my life and situation though man, I’m gonna enjoy the rest of my weekend. Be blessed

Would any brakes that you could use for 15" wheels work as good as stock brakes. Just wondering after all that

I'm quite certain there was a ASP (now SSP - but haven't see it in a few years) evo that ran on wide 15's....never got a chance to see what his brake setup was to make it work, however.

Zacks old FP car ran 16" wheels and I think I recall he had to run smaller than stock brakes. But I also recall they had a lot of ABS issues.

In my experience, the Evo ABS system does not like a high friction pad because the release is to aggressive. So you need brake force and torque to slow the car. Force from your leg or mechanical advantage (different MC). And torque from rotor diameter. If you're going to drop the rotor diameter to fit 15s, then you'll likely need to do something about the force to compensate.
