I also ain't paying to read.
crap I forgot my wheels are 11". i will need to remove the 285 RT660 from my 10.5" and install them in the 11". 285 RE71RS into the 10.5". I wonder if the ASAPtire guy would cut me a deal lol
I feel your pain! I swear I've spent enough money in mounting/balancing this year to buy a darn tire changer....

Being in Texas I can see the heat issues and feel is one of those things you just gotta get use to. Its exactly the same with Hoosiers. They give nearly no feedback when they're close to the limit. But once you get use to it, they're both the fastest of their class for a reason.
The biggest benefit to me of the A052 is that they work in the wet and cold. Being from the PNW thats critical here. I would have bought a set of 315 A052s if they were available but instead I bought the new Hoosier W2 so I can win contingency and have a rain tire for Solo Nats.
Is it issues with heat or feel with the A052?

Is there a tire that likes understeer?
well some drifting action is understeer IMO. i enjoy an autox when I get to WOT thru a sweeper, 4wheel sliding revlimiter banging and lining up for a tighter section, just like my national level heroes
. The A052 I think wont even recover from that

Yeah.. I don't think I'd use a legit grippy tire for anything like that (though I could break my NT01s loose and they seem to ask for more. The benefit of being less sticky than the A052). That's the best part of going to events with street tires, though LOLCarbon fiber wheels. There is ONE place in town that had the machine needed to change the tires. They took advantage.
