Pointless NTEC chat thread
Defensive, much? You read Playboy for the articles, go to Tilted Kilt for the burgers, and Hooters for the wings, right? You're in DFW, one of the largest metroplexes in the US, where amazing food is to be found everywhere. I don't believe for a second that the ribs are the sole reason anyone goes to Bone Daddys, because I have had their ribs, and they are no where near the best. Just decent for a chain, on par with Chili's. Whether you tip extra or not, you are still paying a premium for the view, and that's just how it works. Capitalism, baby.
Don't get me wrong, I have no issue with anyone who chooses to work or dine at places like this. Just be honest with yourself. If you take issue with how women treat the poor, powerless men who are defenseless against T&A, then don't go there, don't buy them drinks and just leave them alone, as I'm sure they'd probably prefer anyway.
You enjoy tearing women down to feel better about yourself, I enjoy calling out inconsistencies in logic from *******s. To each their own.

... but i also appreciate the scenery for sure so it's all good.
Au contraire.
Pistons by themselves, do not make power, the just displace the air drawn in, back out the exhaust ports, on combustion, nor are they a measurement of what an engine makes. The measurement of horsepower in an engine is distributed among cylinders not pistons. Where do you think the statement there's no replacement for displacement came from? and the rebuttal is the replacement is forced induction!
An engine is a vacuum pump when in sync with combustion events turn the crankshaft which creates torque. Torque is the amount of force around a given point, applied at a radius from that point. Combustion events in each cylinder creates torque which rotates the engine. Horsepower is just a calculated measurement of torque doing work over time. HP = Torque x RPM ÷ 5252
You distribute calculated power created based off the # of cylinders of an engine not the # of pistons. That is why when measuring the size of engines it is in cc or cubic inches.

Enough said.
While the food at Bone Daddy's is good its not great. And for the price you pay versus the amount of food you get... You can eat cheaper at Mike Andersons BBQ, get a larger portion, better taste, you just lose the scenery. So the point I'm sure that Bambi was making is that your paying something at the very least for the scenery; which of course is the point

Nothing wrong with that at all, I'm with ya, and we've held the occasional NTEC meet there. My wife's favorite ribs are actually Bone Daddy's, heading there to get them for her is when my IX got T-boned. Kevin from Cobb, T6, and myself have gone on numerous occasions whether it be to eat or just drink (100oz beer for $19 isn't bad, then add in a cute bartender or two, a few TV's, and I'm set).

you all are messed up. bone daddy's has aweful food for the price. rudy's or lockhearts downtown has good bbq. What bone daddy's does have is the girls, and even better for me, the blowtorch drink. That thing is awesome. But at least I admit that I go there to have a stiff drink and see some big ****.
I like Bonedaddy's food (well let me quantify this, I like the pig platter)... but I still only go there from time to time.
The problem with a Mike Andersons or a Lockhart is that they're forever away from where I'm at normally and have really crappy hours. I can hit up a BoneDaddy's/Colters/etc. for lunch quickly. I know it's not the best, but food is food. If I can get a nice view, even better! lol.
