Jags are not bad cars but not worth it if you ask me. You pay 15-20 grand extra for what it's worth. Most cars that class are like the E series and what not but getting them a year or two old is the way to go. I test drove c63 amg as well as an e something amg this weekend and a cts v sedan. CTS V is SO MUCH better. I wish the dealer here had the e63 black series.

The thing is that you are look for a vehicle for your wife that you will most likely bum off of her every now and then so think about it for your benefit too haha.

 

Yea I like the e class, I feel the car was worth it. A year or two old car is a good idea, we will explore that option.

 

Definitely don't buy new on a >$30k car if you can find a clean example.

09 CTSVs seem to have *risen* in value over the last 6 months (I've been tracking the price, as once they hit 40 I'm getting one). They're holding their value very, very well (although not enough for me to go plunk down 65k+).

 

I'd do it. if you can find a "clean" one for 40k that would be an amazing car. I am tracking '12 GTR's and they seem to have gone to low 80s, give it another 6-7 months and will be low 70s and thats when I will pull the trigger on one and drive it straight to cobb from the dealer, already know what I want for it lol. Cobb BOV with AAM Competition GT600-R Upgrade Package Premium with a protune by Calvin. Cobb will come out with their full turbo back for it soon as well, so i might consider that with cobb intake instead of the aam, we shall see.

 

A clean one with higher miles sold here at 45 over the summer. I've even thought about jumping into someone's lease with 10-20 months left on it (~$800 a month). You know... just putting the tip in to "see how it feels"

 

So far it's awesome. I've made use of Siri multiple times, though usually only to ask it stupid questions to see how it responds. Though I did ask it to set an alarm one time and a reminder another time. It worked great.

I've only downloaded 3 apps for it...I figure those are all I need since my iPad already has all my downloaded games on it. One's a weather radar app, one's a chat program for when I get bored at work and one's called "Stealth Tones" and emits a high-pitched whine only certain age groups can hear. This is also useful at work because I have a coworker about 7 years younger who's cool enough, unless she feels like being annoying as hell. I activate the app, crank it up, and soon enough she's vacating the area because of the "weird annoying sound" that I can't hear. She leaves, I turn it off, and work in peace.

I am still looking for the right case for it though. The original case I bought was 'alright' in that it was like a freakin' suit of armor for the phone.... claimed to make it immune to water, snow, drops, etc. etc. But the problem with that one is that I was planning on buying one of those 'docking stations' to make it more convenient to charge and the armor-esque case negates the possibility of using the dock since it's got a sealed 'door' over the charging port. I just want a nice, basic, rubberized case that makes the phone feel a little less likely to slip out of my hand.

Doesn't matter. He's black until he does something scandalous. The two coworkers I spend 12 hours a night with are both black and have informed me that when a person is mixed race, and one of those races is African-American, "he's black until he screws up." They pointed to Tiger Woods as the most recent example. He was on top of the golf world, kicking everyone's *** -- black. He got caught cheating by his wife and crashed his car and had tons of women come out and say he was a cheater -- not black.

Apparently it's a very scientific method used to determine what he is at any given time.

(Of course I point out to them the irony in such assumptions every chance I get.)

 

Racist ignorance automatically claimed any human as being black if they had one drop of black blood in them. This ignorance, to my knowledge, started in the 16th century during the 13 colonies days where when whites would mate with anyone black they would announce the mix breed as "black" instead of what they really are, "mixed". Then in the current generation and the ones that led up to it, as stated above, if you have black in you, most minorities will jump all over it to make sure you know they think you're black. I deal with it on a heavy basis actually. There's a reason most racial surveys have a spot saying "Two or More Races". Every girl I meet asks "what race are you" before they even ask my name.

In conclusion, ignorance will fight you on it all day, if you have a DROP of black in you, you're black.

Actually in low income areas that is primarily minority it is VERY common for this type of issue to happen. I have a friend who student teaches at one in St Louis, she says she has no idea how the doctor allowed these kids outside the womb at birth. They swear, hit, threat, make gang related references, pollute, liter, make sexual comments, booty dance when music comes on and literally touch other students when backs are turned (list goes on). You can look at the kid and easily tell he fits this profile.

This kind of thing wouldn't happen if they would allow kids to get their asses whooped like when I was a kid. Teachers use to beat the living **** outta me if I did or said anything bad.

 

when i was in my elementary grades, my teacher used to throw eraser if we are noisy and yell at us load...we are scared to death but it works.


but this kid.....[B]substitute teacher overheard him tell another student a teacher was cute....was suspended for "inappropriate behavior" after making "inappropriate statements." so F word is better than cute.

 

Mr. Norris, a big 6'+ bald black man in 8th grade taught Algebra...he would sneak up on people when they fell asleep, continue to lecture, and ****ing break a yard stick across your desk.
