So i just got enough money for a new side skirt, now im debating wether to get carbon fiber ones or just get one new prepainted one. I think i should get the prepainted one because its $500 cheaper and i think the carbon fiber wont look right because it will be the only piece i would have on my car..
Any Suggestions??

I'd stick with the stock ones until you can do them all.

you could always get the cf pieces and not bother to put them on until you have the rest. it's going to be winter soon, no shame in driving around with what you have now even if it is a little banged up. why toss new parts on now just for them to be tortured by road salt.

you may not want to listen to me about the cf though. i am a closet ricer and would wear cf underwear if they made it.

yea i could do that, just keep the car in the garage for the winter. im not allowed to drive the car anyway till i get it fixed hah so i cant drive around on the scraped side skirt I think i might just do that. Keep the car in the garage for the winter and just save up for other CF pieces and other goodies :P

Hey guys I'm lookin for a little advice... I want the 272 cams but I am not sure which ones to get... The Crowers look to be the cheapest. Does anyone know of a particular problem with them?

Jer if you don't mind chiming in here I'd appreciate it... If I remember correctly you were running the crowers right?

Hey guys. A couple big noob questions. I want to start logging data from the car. I'm looking at using EvoScan. Do I just need to following cable and Software?
http://www.limitless.co.nz/cables/
  • Mitsubishi EvoScan DataLogger Software - $20
  • Limitless Designs - OpenPort 1.3D USB OBDII/MUTIII/SSMII Datalogging USB Cable - $57

Is that all I need besides a Laptop? Also, where does the cable connect into?

The cable hooks into the OBD II port on the drivers side foot well. Look underneath there and you will see on the left side if you are looking underneath a black plug and a white one, the cable you are buying will plug into there. You will also need ECUflash to flask the changed map to the ECU, search for it in google, its free software so that is nice.

Do I need this if I have no intention of tinkering around with my ECU? I'm just in this purely for logging purposes and testing out the Virtual Dyno Room spreadsheet. I'll keep the tuning and such to someone with more experience.

No, you won't need this if your not tuning the car yourself, all you need to log is EVOscan.
