local Pittsburgh Meet
i don't think i will be able to make the trip to cumberland.
i'm not sure about steel cities, but the nhscc may hold a fun event up north park the first week or so of november if the weather holds out.
i wouldnt go to sbr for your machining if i were you. i would take everything to pittsburgh machine. they are awsome fast and way better than sbr. i once was in sbr shop and watched one of there guys cutting down rods and he just looked at it and said "well its not mine so thats close enough" haha seriously he said those exact words. but if you need some help putting this stuff together let me know u saw my setup i did mostly all of that myself with help from nate.

Wanted to throw out a feeler to yins locals......
For those that do not have factory hid's is anyone interested in doing a group buy for an hid kit. I contacted the guy and normally they are $144.00 shipped but if I can get 5 or more the kits are $128.00 shipped and if 10 or more I can get them for $118.00 shipped.
They are really nice kits and all plug and play, they have gotten great reviews on the forums and have a 1.7 year warranty. You can get them in 4300k-12000k, 4300k is factory and have the greatest light output and then from there they start to lose brightness and gain the "blue" color and become more show. Im ordering the 4300k kit because im interested in the most light because at night with my low beams i cant see anything!!
Either way im ordering a kit for myself but if anyone else is interested we can all save money

i heard there is a kind of aircraft paint stripper that i can use that eats wheel paint right off. anyone know where i could get some of it?
or are there any other tips you have for me. this is my first time prepping and painting something as involved as wheels, so any help would be appreciated.
as far as the painting goes, i got 4 rattle cans of high temp gloss caliper paint. i figure one can per wheel should do the job. along with two cans of clear, and two cans of sandable primer. sounds reasonable?
i figured it was worth a shot, and would be a good learning experience in addition to being cheaper than paying someone to prep and powder coat them, but am getting a little frustrated with the tediousness of prepping these things.

I could find out from the dude who powdercoated my intake manifold , He has a dipping tank that he uses for prep for everything. maybe he would just strip them for ya for a reasonable cost .Let me know
if you could ask him about how much stripping them would cost that would be cool, thanks dan.
very nice mike
