anyone on here sold the yellow VIII in washington? its right by kings off 19 south. looks like painted stock VIII rims with a red stripe around the outer rim.

I have an agency power fuel rail sitting around. Its the gold color. Brand new.

Thats funny you saw Reed. Was this on friday. It seemed the whole team was out and about. My buddy sat next to Ben at the North park lounge on friday. And another buddy saw Hampton and the strip club.

From what i am told, they party a whole lot.. Even on saturday nights (not heavy) but they do go out certain nights before games... Crazy

Well I hit up PRP yesterday and had a mixed day of good and bad.

The bad is that I show up with the meth map loaded and sprayin boostin 28psi. So Im like yeah this should get it done , being that I had beat a cobra on the meth that would pull me before I felt fairly good that the car was making more power. Well I was wrong !!!!

I 60' average and run 11.6 pullin only 120 mph
Check the log all is well no major problems A/F is a safe low 11.xx no knock boost is steady and holdin 28psi all the way so Im like wtf!!

Second pass again average 1.73 60' run 11.5 again only 120mph. WTF.
Again all is well on the log so ????

I say the hell with the meth on the next pass , so I load my other map turn the boost down around 25 psi

next run 11.5 @ 121.92 gettin faster with less boost , log looks good

next run get the boost around 26psi
It go's 1.66 on the 60' turns 11.25 @ 123.48 mph. Thats a little more like it

So I go 3.5 mph faster without the meth and with 2psi less boost

I think I know what the culprit is on my second hand meth map , we will see as I will be implementing a new gameplan and approach to the tune next sunday.
I will just say that my pumpgas map has more aggressive timing in it than my boy

are you doing this all yourself? or are you going to be going to a dyno somewhere?

 

I am attempting to do most of this myself, I am using a 93/meth map to work off of , that my boy Dan has had Buschur do the tune. Almost identical setup same turbo kit everything except he has 280 cams.

His tune barely has any timing in it and it just isnt working with my car so I am back to square one , but I think I might be on to something only another day at the track will tell the tale.

I couldnt keep playing with the meth at the track due to when I made my 3rd pass the laptop battery died , so I think I am going to purchase an a.c. to d.c. converter so I can stay online and log and make adjustments. I got 8 runs but only logged 3

 

those converters are awesome. i got one of those for my laptop a while back. it was like 30 bucks at best buy, and money well spent.
